Chris I had a working fido on my 4k but when I took it back to factory mode now it won't load anything my friends does the same I think Amazon did something, I can we undo there upgrades on the 4k firestick. Thanks Chris 😊

@@cwtek1 yes it went perfect I installed the crew and it works great but for some reason Fido will not but it worked before I took it back to factory mode and it’s only doing this on the 4k firestick

It worked I did it on my Sky tv it worked😁 so good thank you it was a pleasure to help 😢 it it so interesting and I thought at first it didn't work so I kept on check then a sad me time it didn't work but it worked angry third time.😀😄😋

At 2:59 Amazon Metrics Utility Test appears in your applications list. Seems to me to be yet another way Amazin checking up on how users use their FS. Should we be wary of this tool and if so can it be deleted?

The tool cannot be deleted, I don't think its anything to be worried about.

The apps I have downloaded I don't need anymore. But when I go to uninstall it just shows uninstalling app on the screen and doesn't do it . Can you help.

when i go into manage applications and uninstall the apps won’t uninstall ?

If there is no uninstall option then the app is an app that is preinstalled and can’t be uninstalled, if the app is stuck on uninstalling then leave it for at least 30 minutes. if there is an error uninstalling or it take more than 30 minutes then your device has a problem, try factory resetting it and set your stick up again.

Yep, it won't uninstall for me either, so am searching videos to find out how. Going to try the xplore, but am glad to see I'm not the only one having trouble with it!

Great video nice and clear instructions! I use my firestick daily and I'm trying to uninstall apps to clear space, it keeps saying uninstalling application for a really long time and then nothing happens on a few apps, any ideas?

I Noticed that one of the apps i downloded through Downloader was not in the list of apps but it was in the list of applications for clearing catch.and yes it turned up in the list of apps later..

I am assuming you are trying to reinstall an app, please try a different version of the app from a different source.

I am sorry to hear that, in this case I can only advise to do a full factory reset and setup your firestick from scratch!
