Couldn't TK just give Christian Cage a main event push, so he can retire in a Career vs. Title match? He is in good shape, understands storytelling, how to sell, and great mic skills. There is no reason he isn't a champion unless he actively told TK he didn't want to a title outside the TNA World Heavyweight Champion as a transition champion. He did the right thing as an established veteran to put over local/young talent - very classy of him. I feel like people would want to see Christian Cage vs. Sting/Jericho/Samoa Joe one more time. Christian Cage has his best matches in TNA, and they could revive their old rivalries.

@@baconoftheark Too early for him to retire specially since he wasn't wrestling for 7 years with that injury. Jericho and Sting are way older and they're not retiring anytime soon. Christian Cage definitely should be AEW Champion. He has it all specially as a heel but I hope he keeps going for a long time before retiring. Sting is 15 years older than him!
