This video is very insightful especially when you were talking about having the right perspective on your future husband. I personally struggle with that, it’s like I just wanna skip to that part of my life and be over with the singleness part. But when you said how we should be focused on becoming a good wife for that future husband, that really made me take a step back and think, “Wow, I can’t believe this whole time I’ve been waiting for that special person but I should’ve been focusing on how I can better my relationship with God and myself so that if/when I do get married I’ll be a good wife, but also if I never do get married I’ll still be fulfilled by God.” So, thank you for helping me see that. I’m definitely gonna go check out the other video you have on that topic!

As a guy, I would agree...Don't live together with significant other. Make a real commitment not a make believe one. As far as getting a guy, clearly attraction is there plays a role. But don't make yourself too easy to get or you won't be respected as you should. Just little looks or hints once in a while makes a man work harder for you! Never date outside your faith, that really does cause issues down the road. My take on how long to date is the best part of a couple of years. The reason I say this is so you can see all of their emotions and see them more than once so you know what you can expect if you do get married. Never allow physical abuse or cheating EVER!!!

I respectfully disagree with your views on finding "the one." For a few reasons. For one, remember that scripture says that God knows all of our days, before we even stepped foot on earth (Psalm 139:16). Yes, we have free will, but God directs our steps (Proverbs 16:9). Even though we have free will, God has a way of orchestrating circumstances to influence our choices. Also, if there is such thing as "the one" God is certainly more than capable of orchestrating our lives so we meet the person He intended for us to marry. So, how do people end up marrying the wrong person? - you said it: free will. Is free will a bad thing? Not necessarily and not always. But, this goes to show that while we have free will, we also have the free will to ask God in prayer to choose our mate for us, since He knows us better than He knows ourselves. That person whom He created for us IS our soulmate, I believe. But, we have to be willing to submit and surrender that to Him, trusting He will make the right choice.

I look at the story of ruth a little differently. She was focused on working and helping her mother-in-law. Boaz saw her working and inquired about her. Then she made herself available and waited for him to react and tell her what to do. That's my perspective though ☺️ I think there can come success from boldness as well!

I wouldnt want to move in with a boyfrien because that would mean sinning agaist god everyday and if a guy loves me he is not going to jeopardize my relationship with jesus. i would never pressure a guy to married but also he shouldn't pressure me for sex.
