It's remarkable how you took your time to wear the perfume and not just make a quick and shallow review just for the sake of a video. I have a vintage version of Dune and I wore it a couple of times but it feels too strange and unlike any other fragrance, so I tend to avoid it. I will definitely give it a try in the freezing cold. Hi there. Thank you. I like to prepare for my videos, do research… I was impressed when I first tried it but then I had a love hate relationship with it, almost decluttered it. But I was persistent; I kept trying it and now I absolutely love it. I’m on my second bottle. But you’re right, it’s such an odd scent. You’re so lucky to own the vintage. i stopped bothering with new fragrance releases unless it's really something amazing. because EVERYONE will wear new fragrances and i hate how sometimes i walk pass someone at the mall or in the office and they are wearing new scents. older fragrances are often overlooked except for loyal fans and i get to appreciate the scent and make it mine without smelling like others :)

I loved Dune in 2004. And rediscovered it a week ago at the mall. I use perfume for aroma therapy. Unfortunately I can’t wear a noticeable amount to work because scent is outlawed. I also love Givenchy Organza and Indecence. Thank you for the fabulous review.

I have no recollection of the original Dune because I was too young to remember, but apparently my mum wore both Dune and Krazy Krizia which is very similar to Dune. So it’s nostalgic for both of us. Thanks for sharing!🙂

It's not the same but I really love Dune and this perfume means a lot for me. And I agree on the Laura Biagotti Roma. I owned a bottle a long time ago. As you mentioned, Dune is still recognizable, although its performance could be better. Roma is surprisingly affordable. Dune has been fascinating me for years, even when I wasn’t sure if I liked it, I was always impressed by it. It’s such an unusual and unique scent. And I think it still has a big following, not quite as big as other Diors but I’m glad it’s still available.

Hello Luke. I'm a new subscriber and I found you through dear Gabi, the Fragrantician. I'm so glad I found your videos because our tastes in fragrances are very very similar. Your videos ate a pleasure to watch because you have a very peacefull and sweet voice. (My work is earing voices 😊) and very poetic. Dune is forever engraved in my heart and soul because it was one of the first perfumes I bought with my first pay check and my signature for years. Started to work very young because had a child very early in life. I don't wear it anymore because I can't have ghosts in my life and the actual version is less than a shadow of it's former one and I wore it seems on another life. If I found a vintage bottle for a good price I might considered wear it again. But evokes so many feelings and emotions that I don't know if I want to revisit. Lovely review. I wish they wouldn’t reformulate these perfumes as they’re absolute masterpieces and should be left alone.

Good morning! (It's morning for me😊) I have an atomizer of Dune from a subscription service. When I saw your video pop up, I sprayed it on my hand so I could experience it as you described it. I love this fragrance! It's warm and inviting, but has a slight sweetness. When I first received it, it was a little overwhelming. But, my nose has evolved in the last 8 months, and I now find it wonderful. After I shower, I'll wear it for the day. I realized that I never gave you my impression of Yvresse. Another winner. I totally enjoyed the wear. I'll wear it sparingly because I bought the 30ml, 70-80% full bottle for a good price, and larger bottles were extremely experience.....too expensive for me!😊 How long have you loved fragrance? I've always loved it, but always had one bottle at a time. That is NO LONGER the case!😂😂😂 So nice to see you today!

Good morning! It’s almost evening for me, 6pm. We seem to love so many of the same perfumes.🙂 I also noticed that the longer Dune sits and macerates, the smoother it gets. I wore mine yesterday. Thank you for updating me on Yvresse. I’m glad you were able to find it for a good price which seems an impossible task. I bid on a vintage bottle of Dolce Vita today. I ran out of mine (also vintage). The new version that I tried is so weak and watered down, I wanted to cry when I tried it. I’ve loved fragrance since my late teens and I also had only one bottle at a time. Then I upgraded to around 5 bottles during my university years and the rest is history. I don’t consider myself a hoarder though. I have a manageable collection, more or less. I try to purchase wisely, allowing myself an occasional blind buy.

Wow, that was an amazing deal. Yes, I tried Le Parfum, such a nice modern classic white floral, slightly soapy, slightly sweet. I never purchased it for some reason. I also tried Girl of Now; way too syrupy sweet for me.

Yes, I have noticed and I think that’s amazing, not limiting yourself to one fragrance category. I can appreciate any fragrance but I tend not to like the overly sweet ones but there are exceptions of course. My tastes are constantly expanding as I’m exploring new fragrances. That seems like a great bargain.🙂
