Poison edp was my mom’s signature scent for a long time! That’s why it’s my goal to have a poison collection of my own…. I am planning to get the edp, even though we only have the newer formulation… i smelled the Le Secret(?) flanker from a friend… i heard it’s a long discontinued one… and it smelled so beautiful ! ❤

Poison is just so special. I've never smelt a plum that compares and I've never smelt a tuberose that's as good either. It's the scent of a powerful Queen!

Adding the following: when I think of Poison, Passion from Elizabeth Taylor immediately comes to my mind. I haven't smelled it since I was a teenager, but I remember it being a slap-in-your-face tuberose/ smoke/ balsamic/ animalic bomb. Like an even darker Poison. Unwearable (to me), but fascinating. Also, for a combo of plum-white floral-balsam, I think of Aromatics in black. Different, but in the same vibe.

I've never had the chance to smell Passion but I love the bottle! Hopefully one day I'll get a chance to smell that and Aromatics (never smelt any of that range!)

Great collection of poison bottles. I remember the old poison and I loved it❤. Why did they have to add a smokiness to the modern formulation I wonder?

There's always been incense in it, I just think they've changed the ingredients - probably using more synthetics, so it just doesn't smell as good!

Mmmm looks like a yummy week! I finally pulled the trigger on Guess Dare...ooh la la! 😂 We had a false Spring the last few weeks...went up to 15 and sunny and now it's back down to freezing temps and flurries.... But this is March in Canada! 😂 Back to my warm and cozy scents for a bit.

@skinscentsforfusspots My old gf used to wear Poison back in the 90s - it was so sweet that it made me gag, I'm afraid. Today I have her wearing Dolce Lily, which is much better all round. So not here to bash Poison, but to finally point out: Chacal is the French for `Jackal'. Helpful? Irrelevant?

Poison is wonderful, I don't know if I could pull it of though. I agree that Narciso Musc Noir is an easier, wearable (and beautiful) version of it. P.S: I can't with Hypnotic Poison either, seems we are few to feel this way 😁.

Yes I can't deal with the root beer sort of smell that comes from spices and jasmine - I can't get along with any scents that have that sort of scent!
