The exceptional design and operations personnel of RBR, the infra development, the bold decision to switch from Renault to Honda and the even bolder one to open the PT department are all due to Christian. Marko is an advisor, a damn good one though but Christian is the man for action and when big names like Williams and Maclaren has not been competetive for years, his immense contribution to elevate RBR to the level of the behemoths like Ferrari and Mercedes, should be recognised.

"kept believing in him"??? Was never any moment where believing in Max was in doubt. CH and RB where smart enough to sign him longtime and in recognizing he was the guy to build the team around.

For sure Christian has his fair share in the succes of Max right now don't get me wrong. But what many don't know is that early on he actually does have doubted Max. This was when Helmut Marko wanted to sign Max for that TR seat and put him straight into F1. If there is one person that should be praised it is Marko for recognizing the talent and having the guts to put a 16 year old straight into an F1 car.

it is just different strategies of the teams. horner sits at the pit wall and toto sits between the garages, which allows him to know what happens on hamilton's side and on valtteri's side and interrupt if it's necessary. christian just likes to stir a drama every now and then.

It’s mad to think I went there when it was still Jaguar for a job interview. There was a green jag F1 hanging on the wall upon entry, even back then there was a direct link from track back to base and everyone was expected to be on call at weekends in case of a server issue back at base.

It maybe good for F1, but I would like to see Lewis win this year. I feel that this is Lewis’s last year to be dominant enough to win the WDC. The only bonus to Lewis not winning is that Schumacher and Hamilton will remained tie as all time most WDC wins. I think it will be many years before someone can match the 7 WDC.

I think it would be sad to see Hamilton go with 8 drivers championships and Schumacher loses the place. Yet, this is the sport, and also Hamilton will eventually have a person who kicks him of the throne. (Although with 7 and 8 championships on your name it's damn hard.)

@@RogerKeulen that was, because the new rules, no pitsstop below, 2 seconds. Asked for by Mercedes because they just couldn't do it. Saying pitsstop below 2 seconds are not safe bla bla. But then that 11 second pitsstop was just because the system was not working! So again bad luck. You can tell me anything. Max had really bad luck , but won it anyway. Honestly, for me it doesn't have to be this exciting, the last race , last lap. My heart can't take that much excitement

They are not drink manufacturers. Stop talking nonsense! They are Red Bull Racing team - which is nor the same as Red Bull corporation. They are sponsored by Red Bull, and owned by them, that's it. Red bull racing don't produce drinks. There is also Red Bull Advanced Technologies that support F1 team, they don't produce drinks as well, they design super cars amongst other.
