In this video I show you how to remove those really innovative, yet pesky, P-Lock fader caps on the Pioneer DJM900Nexus. Oreos.

Tried showing this video to the guys at Norman's Electronics, my local authorized Pioneer shop here in Atlanta, only to be refuted and told 'it's just as good to pull straight up' despite the locking mechanism. Be careful if you ever have to get your mixer serviced. They also forgot to put back a couple screws around the mic. Thanks for having this video up so I can (try to) explain this to people.

How about the volume fader caps. Do they have the same system? I’m trying to skin my pioneers. The DDj 1000 srt amd the xdj xz but don’t want to force anything.

Absolute lifesaver. What a carry on i almost destroyed mine trying to get it back on. Watched this and boom back on in a crack after 60 minutes of scratching my head. That little plastic thing was doing my box in. almost killed it with plastic fatigue. Thanks a lot man.

Wow. Great video. I'm actually looking to add the rotary knob kit to my DJM 900 SRT & this is the only video that came up with any type of info on it. Thanks for sharing as cap removal is so very important. I just wish I could find the video I'm really looking for. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks Christian.

Can you make a video about how to hook up your CDJ's in digital with the DJM-900 Nexus? I seen you use it in "Life In Color Preview Mix - 4 CDJ2000 (Electro House)" Mix. Thanks! Great Tutorial's! very helpful!

Can anyone help me with this? I'm trying to get my faders off on my Pioneer DJM450, to put a skin on it. I've followed this video, and got the white bit out of the faders, but they still don't want to come off. I've pulled, shimmyed a knife under it, and it just doesn't want to move, even though I think I've taken the 'lock' off... Am I missing something?

Same here. Still no chance of getting the cap off after removing the white clip. Any solutions yet?

Надеюсь google переводчик правильно переведёт. Попробуй плоскогубцы (пассатижи), возможно с их помощь тебе удастся выправить штекер фейдера

wonder why Pioneer did this stupid trick?
@christianjackson Жыл бұрын
On previous mixers, DJs complained that the faders flying off after time or heavy use. So this prevents that from happening without needing special tools or disassembling the mixer to replace them

thanks for the heads up-to be honest a drop of evo stick stopped the problem in the past :)@@christianjackson
