I also want to praise Jana Semerádová, the flutist and director of the ensemble Collegium Marianum. I also want to praise Eva Dřízgová-Jirušová, the most important mentor of Patricia Janečková. I also want to praise all who made many professional videos of great music with Patricia Janečková. Many people helped to let Patricia Janečkova shine and reach our hearts.

In its mysterious way, KZbin recently offered me the complete recording of Collegium Marianum’s 10 October 2021 concert: ’Lednice-Valtice Music Festival: Vivaldi and contemporaries in modern premiere’ - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHfQl3Vta7qUndE This video has had fewer than 1,000 views over the past two years, so is obviously rather obscure and it is not available on the LVHF website. I had previously only seen Patricia’s performances at that concert of Vivaldi’s 'Eja voce sonora laeti cantate' [RV Anh 59.29] and 'Salve Regina' [RV 617]. The concert also included her performances of Vivaldi’s 'In furore iustissimae irae' [RV 626] and Caldara’s 'Quell’usignuolo tempra il suo duolo' from the oratorio Santa Ferma. While the first three pieces are available on the LVHF website, that last piece is not.

The lack of information on the video may indicate that it was never intended for general circulation.

There must indeed be videos of many of the concerts listed on La Celestia to which no links are yet available; let us hope they are made public eventually.

@@peterburdge4138 Thank you, Peter, for sharing this link to Patricia's 2021 LVHF performance. Much appreciated. I am also curious as to why it never showed up on my YT recommendations, since it is listed on their YT catalog page, and I have been a subscriber for "all" LVHF releases since early 2019, as well as any other channels that have posted Patricia's performance, going back to when she was twelve. I have, just this weekend, begun to watch Patricia's beautiful performances again here, a year and two weeks after she left us forever. Couldn't do that previously without my eyes filling with tears, and a pain in my heart. I was introduced to her beautiful singing several years back, thanks to a dear friend in Ostrava who is a neighbor of her parents, but still have quite a way to go before I have heard all of Patka's performances since she was an eleven year-old girl. She was, and always will be, the most superb and beautiful soprano I have ever heard in my seven-plus decades. 💔 Greetings from Honolulu Hawai'i. 🌴🌈🤙

@michaelhirst419112 күн бұрын
A CD of the brilliant ‘airport’ concert was issued, but is very hard to obtain. Her debut CD can be streamed or downloaded without compression from Apple Music and other services, but that is the voice of the 13 year old child - remarkable given her age, but not the equal of her mature voice, such as we can hear in this concert. My advice is to find the best possible reproduction of the KZbin recordings, some of which, like this one, have pretty good sound. I downloaded this particular concert from Czech TV, and I think it has the edge in sound quality

I would like to see the major symphonic orchestras of Slovakia and the Czech Republic join forces for a memorial concert honoring Maestra Janeckova's memory. The centerpiece of such a concert would have to be the 'Dies Irae' from Berlioz's "Requiem".
@mkzzzzzz7 ай бұрын
What is the use of concerts without her... She cannot be replaced by any other soprano...
@peterburdge41387 ай бұрын
I agree that a memorial concert would be a good idea, although there has already been one, albeit on a more modest scale than that proposed by you. Patricia was due to have performed at a concert on 6 October 2023 as part of the Lednice-Valtice Music Festival at the Church of St. Jakub Staršího, Lednice. The tickets had already been sold so the organisers decided not to cancel it, but instead to give it as a tribute to Patricia, with the 16-year old soprano Adéla Řehořová bravely taking her place at short notice, accompanied by the Boni pueri boys' choir and the Wranitzky Kapelle orchestra. Here is Adéla singing Panis Angelicus: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqGYgaOIqdCeb9U And why the Dies Irae, when Patricia’s gift was to mediate something of the love of God rather than his wrath? The priest who conducted her funeral said ‘I believe that Patricia is filled with the beauty of God’ so would not Faure’s In Paradisum be more appropriate?
@AllenJones-w3p6 ай бұрын
@peterburdge4138 I was only making suggestions. I had suggested the Berlioz 'Dies Irae' because it is so grandiose and majestic.

😢 I believe in God, Jesus Christ, Who was praised by Patricia and Who took her to heaven to be with Him forever! Yes, it is sad for us. But it is much better for her. She is in a much better place in God's glory. We can praise God for this. And we will all die. But only God knows the proper time when someone is ready, when he/she has innocent heart forgiven by the blood of Jesus through faith and repentance. I believe it was her perfect moment to leave this sinful world. She has also done very much, enough for us, similar to Mozart who also praised Jesus.

@@zzausel Yes, some "churches" at the side of Russia, including the state supported Russian orthodox church, praise this war and "bless" their warriors to "release" the territories from "fascists". Doing this, they serve devil and show that they are not God's churches who hear God and listen to Him. They listen to putin's propaganda. And, at the other side, some of my Christian friends, Ukrainians, are at front to defend their families and friends. Some of them already died.
