How terrible it is that before I even managed to watch this video, the main character of it, Patricia, that beautiful person with beautiful soul and angelic voice, is no longer among us. That really hit me harder than I would ever expect, expecially after all seemed to be okay. I got to meet Patricia in person in 2017 after a musical she sang in. I was the only one waiting at the staff entrance of the theatre. I waited for her for an hour, she emerged from the door with another actress, and I will never forget, how she was standing there, surprised, shy, but kinda happy someone wants her autograph. She must have been 19 at that time. I'm honored I could stand next to her, exchange couple sentences with her, praise her singing in person and look into those eyes for a second. I will never forget that. And that is how I'm gonna remember her. Rest in peace, Patricia. Thank you, may you sing with angels now.

Then I defy you stars! Damn you, greedy heaven! Must you tease us with one of such talent and beauty, only to snatch them away? Lucia Popp, Mario Lanza, Dimitri Horovstovsky and now Patricia Janeckova. It's a sad truth, to them that are given much, much shall be required. RIP Patka.😢😢😢

I also was stunned by her passing, and very sad that the world has lost such a beautiful person, I feel as if I have lost a very close family member to this devastating disease. It hit me hard especially because I almost lost the love of life to breast cancer. I had loved this woman for , and though she and I were very close, she never seemed interested (possibly due to me being a combat vet with bad PTSD), but 18 years later, out of the blue, I had an urgent need to contact her, I didn't know WHY; just that I HAD to; called a old friend of hers , and she gave me her number, saying " she will be SO happy to hear from you,, she is so down right now and so sick from her breast cancer treatment. That was the first I knew of it. I contacted her and told her I was coming up there to see her, and on the plane trip from Hawaii I told one of the cabin crew why I was going up there, and that I was going to marry her-because she had nobody else in her life and that if I was only going to have a short time with her, we were This sweet lady told the plane captain about it, and he made an announcement on the planes P.A. about the issue, and I had a huge number of people come by my seat to wish her and I good luck and long life. That was 26 years ago, and she is doing fine(?), the interesting thing is that she at the time, was an RN who became motivated to become a and at 68, she is STILL at her job ❤helping people.

one wonders if patricia knew she was going to die & married her fiance before she succumbed to the cancer! whatever the truth, patricia died a young woman & will always be remembered for her beautiful looks, smile & humble manner! her life story should be written & made into a documentary, stage musical or film! or maybe all three! cds & dvds of her musicals should also become available: 'romeo & juliet' & 'acis & galatea' are two such shows!!!

My father showed me Patricia's interpretation of "Les Oiseaux dans la Charmille" when I was 12. years old She was a total inspiration that helped me find the passion and strenght to follow my dreams of becoming an opera singer. She still does. She made it look easy, with her incredibly beautiful and agile voice rising in the air like pure crystal, achieving impossible feats, but she showed all the strenght, work and determination behind that incredibly trained voice too. I am so devastated to learn that she has left this world. You were the same age as my boyfriend, Patricia. May you rest in peace, in a place full of music and calmness. Though your body has left the Earth, who you were, your voice, recordings and actions will remain and change the course of the world with your influence in every soul you touched. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for existing.

@@alexanderthegray3330 She was even helping to sew the masks during covid, in her gallery is a photo. She is a pure lady in many ways. No matter whether she is best. She is best in her own natural way, loving people nature animals, horses, She likes Italy, Italian food, language, architecture music culture Rossini. etc. Her dream was having a horse which she did and singing with Andrea Bocelli. As Dr. Joe Dispenza says comparison and competition are the old way of thinking, especially in companies where the workers are taught to compete against each other and compare each other. He says It separates people from each other. Community and love puts people together.

Thank you to Patricia and Vlastimil for the very kind thought to share these beautiful photographs of their wedding. While I, like many others, am seeing them for the first time only after learning the sad news of her passing, and therefore viewing them through eyes filled with sadness, I am heartened that this wonderful young woman who brought such joy to all those who heard her sing experienced the joy of her own wedding day and has shared that joy with us.

So glad she had this special day before she was gone, to love and be loved, and to make memories for all the people who were left behind after her tragic loss. I lost my beloved wife to cancer as well, far too young. However, we had our chances to make those memories, which I treasure in my heart and always will.

Writing from the USA. This beautiful soul with a voice from God came on my phone as I was scrolling a couple days ago! I had never heard of Patricia before and was immediately captivated by her voice! Then I found every bit of information about her as I could and learning about her death was devastating. I have listened to every recording available and her voice was a gift from God! Such a full and beautiful life ahead of her and all taken by the horrible disease of cancer! Oh how the diagnosis must have frightened her and her family! I’m sure she went through so much fighting for her life! I haven’t been able to get her and her voice out of my mind and felt a need to comment how incredibly sorry I’m am that the world has lost her! My prayers are for comfort for her husband, family and friends! She was beautiful! Linda🙏🏻

@@vencapesak5956 co to meleš? Rakovina tu byla již před jakýmkoli očkováním, na to samé zemřela moje prababi, když jí bylo 35 let, zrovna dnes mi to vyprávěla moje matka. Nechala po sobě čtyři malé děti. To jen takoví tupci, musí ze všeho dělat senzaci a neustále připomínat očkování proti covidu.

В своё время youtube среди рекомендаций выдал видео с куплетами куклы Олимпии. Переслушал несколько раз, получил и от просмотра, и от прослушивания огромное удовольствие. После этого заходил на канал, смотрел остальные видео. Потом как гром среди ясного неба: обращение к фанатам по поводу болезни. И вот сегодня, опять же в рекомендациях, видео памяти Патриции. Такая молодая, цветущая, приносящая столько света в этот мир... Покойся с миром, ангел. Соболезнования родным и близким.

I too am a Southeast Texan, and I too was devastated to hear of Maestra Janeckova's passing. Her repertoire included Mozart and Gershwin, two musical geniuses who, like Patricia, died while they were still young. For the first anniversary of her death, I would like to see a gala concert honoring her memory. For the centerpiece of such a concert, I would like to suggest the Dies Irae from Berlioz's REQUIEM, and for the finale, I wish to suggest Elgar's POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE MARCH NO. 1 in D major.

Come tantissime persone ho sperato che Patricia superasse la malattia. Oggi non posso immaginare la Musica senza di lei. Ho ascoltato centinaia di volte le sue interpretazioni ed ogni volta la sua voce e il suo sguardo mi affascinavano. О Боже, какие вести… только что узнала… я следила за ее выступлениями много лет. Очень расположила она меня к себе. Очень любила слушать Русалку Дворжака в ее исполнении. Прекрасная Патрисия. I am shocked, to read the News on Patricia's Facebook Account. I recall when I saw her singing Once upon a time at Miss Renata, which is still unforgettable. I had so much hope for her when I learned she got married after the disease. My deep condolences to her husband, the familiy - and all who loved her like I did.

Knew her since we were teenagers and while we didn't meet each other often anymore, we were always connected on an emotional level. The bond is the kind you'll experience once or maybe twice in a lifetime. Patricia was the kind of person who had the gift of connecting with someone on a level you didn't even know was possible. Can't listen to her songs anymore without crying. Not just tearing up, tears streaming down. It physically hurts to see or hear her again. The world has lost a unique and one the most talented singers ever. Those who knew her personally, have lost a unique person. Beautiful, both inside and out. Dear Patricia, thank you for your love and friendship. I will never forget you. I love you, my dear friend ;-(

i think patricia got married because she knew she was going to die!! if she died happily, it was no bad way to die but of course she left behind many devastated, heartbroken, sad people, for whom her death would have been so hard to accept, especially as she was only 25 & seemingly having the whole world ahead of her! it would be particularly sad ifher name just disappears like a leaf blown away by the wind! hopefully there are tributes in the way of a book, documentary, stage musical & film in the pipeline, maybe next year, when her death is not so raw! i'm sure a 30 song album on cd/dvd would not be hard to produce as many of her best songs can be found on 'you tube'! just an idea!

Не могу в это поверить, зашла на канал посмотреть новое видео, радуюсь, смотрю и не могу нарадоваться что Патриция вышла замуж, какое счастье, думаю что скоро детки появятся и прочее, мысли только о том как я рада за такую прекрасную певицу. Very sad news about her passing on Sunday. Her life was taken from her far too early. At least it looks like she was able to have a lovely wedding a few months ago that brought some joy. The only consolation for us, is that we live in a day and age where we can see recordings of her singing and smiling when life was good. We can still celebrate the immense talent she had. She won't be forgotten.

Dear Patricia, I just found out about your leaving us two days ago. I've been thinking of you ever since. What a loss to the world! This news hit me so hard, I never even met you. I never mourned any person's that I did not know personally death. I am mourning yours. I fell in love with your voice a few years ago and often listen to and watch your performances on KZbin. I so wish I had a chance to hear you live in concert. What a treat that would be! I hope to meet you one day when my time comes - maybe you can sing "Pie Jesu" for me? It's my favourite. I'm literally having tears in my eyes writing it. I will miss you sweet angel. Rest in peace.

I was thinking about you yesterday, I imagined inviting you for a private concert in Switzerland, and this is so hard to believe. After I heard she was getting better I just chilled and start waiting for another upload peacefully. So when I clicked on this video, the first thing came to my mind was "sigh, who's the lucky guy to marry her" and then it was like "that girl have found her love of her life, good for her". Now you can imagine how shocked I was after I found out that she had passed away. A girl of my age, a much alive human being, a talented singer, just suddenly got defeated by cancer that was already well under control. Goodbye Patricia, you have gone to a beautiful place with no deceases, and filled with only joy and happiness. RIP my friend.

A loss of this girl is a “cosmic event”. It is above me, you, even more than all humanity in all of its history. Her voice.. her talent was the way for the rest of us - the simple humans - to communicate with the universe. My daughter was tree when I show her “the doll song”. It had such an effect on her that part of her personality is due to Patricia's magical voice. That’s why LOVE stays for ever. She is NEVER going to die. Our hearts have skipped a beat many times listening to her, seeing her on stage performing the most difficult tasks with effortless ease. I will always remember her as the girl who made me cry many times of joy and sadness. Sadness, because her body could not withstand such a strong soul. We are made of matter, unfortunately. Patricia is made of the essence of the Universe. We will love her forever. Courage to her loved ones.
