Merry Christmas! For many years I have found the holiday to be so stressful for me that I typically dread it. I love buying gifts for the people I love and try to get them things I know they will enjoy, but always fear I didn't get enough. I like and despise getting gifts in equal measure. I don't "need" anything and feel guilty when opening presents.I'm a giver not a taker so maybe that has something to do with it? Thankfully my husband got me two really lovely things and didn't overdo it. I hope you had a great holiday xx Books in the US are so expensive. Hardbacks especially are a lot of money. I have a Barnes and Noble account so I get discounts. If they are having a preorder sale for new releases I can get a discount plus free shipping which is nice but many times it's still more than books in the UK. I've ordered books from Waterstone's and even with international shipping spent less than I would getting them in the US. That is sad and unacceptable. A series that I would absolutely love to get special editions of is A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I listened to the audiobooks ( the narrator is a chefs kiss) I've listened to them a few times and l know I will listen to them again at some point. If anyone wanted the cliff notes version they can watch the TV show but it will not be the same. So good!!

absolutely loved your answer to my question, thanks for responding 🫶🏻 my sister and I have always been huge fans of THG as well and at one point we were also trying to think up a concept of what worthy special edition copies would look like as well 😆 LOVE the idea of propaganda posters being used on the hardcovers! page overlays would also be fantastic. if anyone ever does them, they will absolutely need to go all out because it’s SO beloved. thank you again for treating us to these 12 days of videos - it’s been such a treat! hope you enjoyed your holiday 🤍

Very kind of you to think of others on this day. I have learned to make my day happy by watching movies I love, and cooking meals I love and not excepting anything from others because even when I do get gifts they can be very hit or miss.

Ooo, what class are you playing in BG3? Have you tried the durge yet? As far as activities for reading slumps, I really enjoy doing a jigsaw puzzle while watching KZbin or listening to a podcast. I’ll pair it with an audiobook when I’m feeling less slumpy
