Nice to see a proper car wash in "the middle of the winter". It's so cold here in Sweden, and has been for a long time, that it's impossible to wash outside. Most cars here are dirty after all the travelling during X-mas. Looking forward to do a proper wash!

Dude you are actually insane with your opinions on the e46 and the s54. I agree the car stock sucks but it can be made so damn good with the right aftermarket parts. The engine and its soundtrack especially the rasp is unique and legendary. I was really looking forward to the build series on that car. Really sad to see it go.

Im sure you know about them but I really like the Leviton wifi switches that replace standard switch and can be used as a standard switch. You won’t have any problems with the electricians etc bc it’s wired like normal but then you can use your standard smart home hub suites like Apple HomeKit to control them. It’s a very good compromise imo.

Matt I think your light switches will work even if internet goes out. As long as you have power, your wifi network is still up if your internet goes out. So devices can still communicate in the network

Def going to pick up 35’ of the new hose. I will have a like new 50’ Kobrajet for sale. The one thing i dont like with the KJ, not using a hose real. The hose has memory to it and its more difficult to wind up. Looks like the OG hose, being more pliable.. doesn’t have that issue. Plus 50’ is a bit long for my use anyways.

Is that the proper way to shut down the AR? You shut your water off, then released the pressure in the line with the switch still being on and no water going to the pump? Heard the pump racing…won’t that damage the pump with it running and the water being turned off? Shouldn’t you switch the power off, then the water, then drain the hose? Great set up thou Matt! Love your new garage!

Ha, ha... No, it goes into bypass when the water pressure drops. The only concern would be heat if you left it running like that for a long time.

Just make sure you don’t pressurize the hose with it in, have to disconnect a hose to bleed pressure off the line 🤦‍♂️
