Beautiful Christmas concert with great voices of Elina Garancaa, Genia Kühmeier, Juan Diego Flórez y Paul Armin Edelmann. Mr. Juan Diego Flores, the Peruvian tenor is amazing performing the Panis Angelicus. I will make the arrangements to be there the next Christmas. It was about 10 years ago I came across this Christmas in Vienna 2008 desiring to listen to Christmas music. I fell asleep sitting in front of my computer about 10 minutes into this performance. I woke up about 30 minutes later near the beginning of Valse Melancolique by Emils Darsin (begins at the 39:56 minute mark) and heard one of the most beautiful pieces of music. Here it is September 1, 2023 and I am back once again to listen specifically to Valse Melancolique for the 30-40th time? since when I first heard this piece. Beautiful, I was listening to it loudly in my apartment in Brisbane, Australia where it was very hot for Christmas in the evening so everyone's windows and balcony doors are wide open.
