This is a great way to make a sponser video. The sponser item adds to your style, rather than seeming like it's shoved in and turns out like an infomurtial.

mandi me He should make a video with hotpoint! Those videos are great, because the sponsor is mentioned so little in the videos, it's not annoying AT ALL! 😂 *sarcasm end* But seriously, this was a very good video and it didn't really differ from the usual ones! Well done ad!😊👍🏻

As an Italian and a chef I've got to say that these ideas are... fantastic! As an Italian I would be reluctant on incorporate pizza (and modify it) into a Christmas Dinner, but as a chef I'm bored of the same stuff, hence, this video hits the point. You have just brought INNOVATION and CREATIVITY into the family kitchen with these ideas and shouldn't be considered a sacrilege. Well deserved thumb up

Alex you are very considerate to always work your paid promotions into the video way that adds to the experience. It's very easy to just read a quick press release in the middle of the video like most KZbinrs do. Thank you for your passion.

I think this is paid promotion done right. He didn't rave on about how incredibly awesome the product is, but showed a few handy usecases. And nobody is forcing anyone to throw privacy concerns into the wind and buy the google speaker. Google collecting data isn't exactly a secret, don't buy the product, if you don't want to.

I completely agree! The entire marketing industry needs to get it thru their heads that no one likes the constant ads and commercials... However, get someone we like to use it in action while not making it a secret that they are promoting it, and I have no problems with it. Truly this is the way all advertising should go.

My family got tired years ago of having the full Turkey & Ham (half of family is team turkey and half is ham) on Thanksgiving and then having the same thing one month later. Our solution is we have a themed Christmas dinner (dress is optional). We have had all kinds, last year was carnival food, this year is southern cooking. We've had Japanese, Mexican, Italian....etc....I'll encourage French next year.. :)

Same. My family never makes a traditional Christmas dinner. We always just make baked ziti. We're not even Italian, we just like baked ziti, and it easier than the usual ham or turkey. I live in the US, so we save that for Thanksgiving.

Hmm in Denmark it's Roasted pork with crispy pork rinds, duck and medister (spicy sausage). Side dishes are cooked potatoes, brown potatoes (small glass potatoes coated with caramelised sugar), brown gravy (very thick), cooked red cabbage, franske kartofler (chips) and Meny Pariser Chips. I think some combination of these would be great on pizza.

here in switzerland, or atleast my family, Christmas dinner is either fondue standard if its snowy and cold, fondue chinoise or a table grill with various meats and Raclette cheese and Gschwellti (its a proper term, surprisingly.) in a pressure cooker ( you can also add some carrots with the potatoes. my dad, the weirdo, also adds a whole egg, which smells pretty distinctly sulphuric, but he likes it I guess)

For those of us not keen on mushrooms or want to contrast the nutty Smokiness, try adding thinly sliced red onion on the chestnut pizza before baking. A local pizzeria makes a pizza with blue cheese, hazelnuts, and thinly sliced red onion. They call it “The fifth Beatle”.

Mmm Pizza. We do a big pizza every Christmas, hauling out the biggest cast iron pan we can find. Your traditional Christmas dinner sounds... exactly like the traditional Thanksgiving dinner here in the US. I eat ground turkey all throughout the year, so I actually don't look forward to the full version of it as the main dish during Thanksgiving. How about asparagus and brussels sprouts on a layer of hollendaise (extra lemon in the hollendaise or some zest over the pie fresh out of the oven) with either grated havarti or pepper jack cheese depending how much zing you want. Baby spinach would be a nice extra. Spinkle dried dill and a light dust of fresh ground black pepper over the top right out of the oven. For a little meat if required, dark meat turkey and olive oil right before going in. I was thinking how to do an eggs benedict with the asparagus but doing the eggs properly poached on the dough without overcooking is a challenge that escapes me right now. Maybe add after the pie is done or undercook and add them for the last minute in the oven..? I love asparagus and brussels sprouts in hollendaise and thinking about your holiday pizza gave me ideas. I would do it right now and comment the results but I am quadriplegic so have a bit of an excuse... Think you would be up for an addendum video?
