Let me rephrase that. Only the Creation Trio and Arceus are true Poké Gods. The Weather Trio are closer to Demigods. Xerneas and Yveltal are the ones that keep the cycle of life and death going on the planet while Zygarde monitors. Every other Legendary is not a Poké God.

BUT, the backstory and conflict between Arceus and Giratina is very reminiscent of the conflict between Jehova and Lucifer, as both Giratina and Lucifer were banished by their creators to an alternate world made specially for them, Hell in the case of Lucifer, and the Distortion World in the case of Giratina. Look at the Pokedex, its writen that Giratina is the Renegade Pokemon, what is Lucifer? The renegade angel, Satan.
