Christopher B. Duncan was very patient with the interviewer because Duncan did an excellent job at laying out how the Spiral role helped diversify perception within characterization. You don't have to ask questions that were naturally answered just because it's written down on the agenda. You're interviewing a skilled actor. You have to role play and improvise interviewer.

He is wise & grounded!!! His parents did a wonderful job raising him… He hurts for the connection with both his parents, but I believe he will make it! I know, I’m in his shoes, momma gone and dad is still walking the earth, but his mind is going in different directions! 😢 It’s not easy, but you have to keep going… smiling & crying along the way 💪🏽🙏🏽🥲

Yea I don’t blame him. Hollyweird tends to have a ritual of debasing their actors, they do it to everyone but especially when it comes to people of color. Weird meetups with execs in hotels just to be considered in movies or shows, wearing dresses or kissing people of the same gender (nothing wrong with that, but not something that should be forced on everyone.) The industry is just too shady

Ass? How does homosexuality come in the equation? I don't think anybody who has sex with same sex in Hollywood isn't themselves Gay already. No heterosexual man will get but fcuked just to get ahead in hollywood

I don't like the interviewer..he's slick with his statements saying petty shit then saying i mean behind it also not being really interested in what he saying because he's not answering in such a way he thought he thought he'd tell it all and be defaining fellow actors and he did NOT and I truly appreciated it but in my opinion the interviewer did not smh. I did truly enjoy this dialog he was pleasant to listen to with all the good memories he had, him never forgetting his up bringing and his consistency at the same time his calming tone of voice was everything!!!.. They need to retrain this interviewer though in my opinion!!!

He is a class act. I respect him for having dignity and standing on his principles. You can tell he has theater’s background with his perfect diction. I wasn’t really here for some of John’s questioning 🤨. I felt some questions were disrespectful and somewhat messy and I also felt like he cut him off with irrelevant line of questions that was going into a different direction than what he was speaking on.

This interview was salvaged solely by Chris Duncan’s wisdom and insight. While I think everyone should be given room to improve; the lack of research, missing cues and pointed direction by this interviewer were not graceful, and ultimately weakened the potential of the conversation that could’ve been had with Chris. Thankfully, Chris navigated this expertly. However, he also deserved a better conversation with someone who was more familiar with his entire work history, and pushed fewer of the gossip-related angles. (Learn and grow- constructive criticism)

It's only a poor question to someone who seeks to hide their origins or is ashamed of them. I think what ethnicity your parents are especially in America has a huge impact on making a person who they are and is a very valid question when the idea of the discussion is to get to know the other person better.
