Oh my, Max is just so darn adorable! He’s grown up so much since you started your channel. You can see he’s becoming more comfortable in front of the camera but I love that he’s not consumed with wanting to be in every video and you aren’t forcing him to be in them either like so many kids are these days, especially at his age. FYI you never want to use rodi on guppies. They like hard water, rodi removes that amongst other good things for them. Also you want to drip acclimate , dosnt matter if you trust their water, it has to do with the kh,gh, ph of your water and the stores water. Theirs will be different than yours.

Here's an experiment I am doing that seems to be working. Take some holiday cactus maybe your wife for a friend has some growing in a pot like normal somewhere. Get some clippings with permission of course and put them in your aquarium. Maybe prop some up like you're just rooting in a glass and let others just float around. I don't want to ruin the experiment I just proposed but I will say that I've got some growing both ways.

How often do you see guppy babies in your setups. I have a 29 gallon tank with 3 males and 9 females. It's bees about 2 and a half weeks and I've had about 20 sum odd babies from 3 different females

Indoor set up is much expensive than outdoor set up...in outdoor set up you just need an ordinary breeding box, some floating plants like water lettuce,guppy grass or hornwort which ever is available and then add a pair of guppies and boom in just a couple of weeks you can produce more guppies like crazy...

I jus recently subscribed and bn loving the vids ever since. I'm frm a little town dead center of Arkansas. My favorite color is crystal blue and purple. My town doesn t have pet stores or live fish stores other jus ur basic fish bait.. Christopher Scott just keep in Ming shrimp need substrate and plants but it can just be Java moss witch can grow in anything and shrimp sell for a good price I do it for store credit to support my 90 gallon tank and by the way I’ve been watching your vids for a while and I love them and the new scapes are great 👍 keep it up man

Hi, if I were to home breed some fish, normally what are the difference of price ( interns of percentage ) between retail price and the price local aquarium willing to buy from me ? Understand that it is different in each country, but just a rough estimation

Being a 12 gallon tub, that is not 12 gallons of water, unless you actually measured the gallons of water, which you didn't mention. So if you didn't add 12 gallons of water, you should not add 12 tablespoons of salt. Also not to mention, you did not cycle the tank.

You should read the instructions... They say 1 table spoon per 5 gallons. NOt per gallon. The per gallon is when using it to medicate a sick fish.

I did read the instructions and have used it for years… but since you obviously came just to drop this comment, let me educate you - for tropical tanks, 1/2 rounded tsp per 1 gallon of water, or 1 rounded tablespoon per 5 gallons. Now pay attention, this where it gets important - FOR LIVEBEARER TANKS, which is exactly what guppies are - 1 tablespoon per gallon of water, increasing levels slowly over 3-4 days. this may not be written on the API salt box; however, this is a practice used for livebearer tanks.
