I have been so excited for the Christmas home tour! Everything you do is so magical. I love the stories behind your treasures and the sentimentality. That's so cool that you and your brother shop together and get each other such thoughtful gifts.. I miss Ben Franklin stores. I love Homegoods-pillows ,throws, decor, wrapping paper-you name it! Your dishes in the dining room are beautiful and I have always love Spode. I did my main bathroom in Spode decor this year including a shower curtain. Everything looks great, especially seeing it all lit up at night. All the love you put into this is evident. I am sure you and your guests will have a great time. merry Christmas!

Everything looks beautiful ☺ I really enjoy your longer videos because I really like the way you express yourself, one can practically feel the love for your grandma and that everything you decorated comes from the heart - ornaments, memories. There are a lot... well wast majority of videos where you do not get the feeling that it is an actual home being decorated and yours are the complete opposite so I really enjoy that because at the end of the day it is about creating a warm home filled with memories 💕 Have a great Holliday Season !

Beautiful decorations! The "tree skirt" is a nordic design with a Yle Goat and a Nissan (norwegian) or Tomte (swedish) motif. Whereas we think of tree skirts as linens to hide the tree stand, Scandinavians use them under the tree stand to protect the floor from tree sap and to assist in pulling the tree to the center of the room on Christmas Eve so all the guests can hold hands and dance around the tree singing a traditional song.: "Nu Ar Det Jul Igen" The song says it's Christmas time again and Christmas lasts until Easter; but that wasn't true because in between becomes lent.

Chris, the last picture of showing the house lit up that is the most beautiful Christmas lights. I think I’ve ever seen just gorgeous. I love the tour, but there were few things that just really touched me. When was the picture of you you and your husband the other was the Avent calendar because I have the one that my mother made for my grandchildren that I put up every year, very similar to yours, I love the plates that you bought the ones that can go in the dishwasher. Those are so pretty I could go on and on just lovely you did a wonderful job.

Those ICICLES on the upstairs tree are metal and heavier... my mother used to painstakingly apply those to our Christmas trees to make sure the effect was even. At the end of Christamas she would then remove them and straighten them on a piece of cardboard to save for the next year. I remember thinking they were expensive and special because of the care she took with them. Happy Christmas to you and yours! Always enjoy your videos.

I purchased the flowering maple plant on Etsy & it has been pretty easy to grow. When the leaves start to wilt I water it & I just have it in a sunny window :) Sometimes you can find them in gift plant sections & year-round greenhouses.

I love your house and the stockings look so cool on the staircase. We have an old umbrella stand in the house with a lot of old umbrellas in it. We look for the vintage wooden shaft ones with the fancy handles. I have a couple from a great Aunt of mine who passed away years ago. These are getting harder to find in antique stores.
