Hmm. I’m going to add chicken gizzards to my next batch. I just started making dog food in my instant pot last week for my shih tzu and he loves it.

Check out my dehydrated sweet potato recipe too! You first steam it in the IP and then dehydrate in the oven, dehydrator or outside!!

Hello Christy I read a post on facebook comparing 3 at to 6 at times. I have made your healthy dog food recipe several times in both and my dogs would almost kill for it. I made a batch per your instructions yesterday in my 3 at and a double batch in my 6 at. Tight fit with perfect results. 12 bars at end. I have had many people inquire as to the recipe. I always refer to your KZbin post. I thank you and my happy thinner dogs thank you. Ps. My vet also approves!

So happy to hear that your dogs loved this recipe! Isn’t it so convenient to portion out the food into molds, freeze it and always have it ready on hand? It’s nice to hear that my recipe is vet approved! Thanks for leaving me this sweet compliment!!!!

This is a great meal prep for the little beasts! Now what breed are your dogs and do they shed fur, are they good with children
@ChristysChannel5 жыл бұрын
They are maltese. This breed is non hypoallergenic which means they don’t shed and cause allergies. They are laptops and very playful. Good with kids but must train them a little bit.

I wish people would not play all that musice in the background especially with a soft spoken person doing the video. I barely heard anything she said.

Hello iwanna know to where you buy the mold ware thanks to show us
@ChristysChannel5 жыл бұрын
I bought the mold from Michael’s craft store. It’s part of the Martha Stewart baking collection.

do the gizzards get soft ? ordinarily they are too chewy for my dogs.
@ChristysChannel5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it gets soft! Especially making it inside the Instant Pot helps to soften it.

I am looking to back out of the Canned Dog Foods available. I just don't think they are good for my dogs. I came across your Video and was intrigued by your instructions. I'm going to try to make this. I'll be watching for more from you. Thank you.

Canned dog food isn’t good with so much additives, fillers and chemicals. I’m glad you came across my video! If you’d like more dog food recipes, please let me know :)

Well I have made this twice now and my dogs go nuts for it. They even sit in the kitchen waiting for it to get done.

Do you microwave the dog food? Or just let it thaw out and serve at room temperature?
@ChristysChannel7 жыл бұрын
Well my dogs are spoiled so they won’t eat unless it’s heated slightly enough where the food isn’t too cold. I just thaw out 1 week’s portion and microwave for 10 sec before serving. Don’t let it thaw out at room temp. Just thaw insie tthe fridge.

And the calcium??? Dogs need calcium every single day
@susanreynolds99475 жыл бұрын
Lida Pittenger, I use chicken thighs or legs with the idea that some of the calcium is extracted from the bones.

@@susanreynolds9947 they need calcium, rinse and dry eggshells leave overnight and pulverize in coffeemill - give 1/2tsp per lb of food at feeding time
