This a a strong compliment Chris. I have been on youtube doing lessons from every person I could find. You are by far the fastest and cleanest player of anyone on youtube I have ran across. Even the hardest Avenged Sevenfold songs you seem to be almost bored playing them. You have incredible skills. I would wager you are better than a lot of the guitarists that write these songs. MAD SKILLS bro!!!! Any band would be lucky to have you. If I had your skills, I would be interviewing for some big bands if and when the opportunity arose. Keep doing what your doing. You lessons are amazing and have helped me tremendously.

@nateryan19 жыл бұрын
I think his version is actually off in some spots. It's a pretty good rendition and it fits the backing track, but there are a few intricacies in the official version that make it easy harder than this version. I'll stick with this though haha

Great job! I love this solo! I can't play it myself as a beginner, so can't comment on it's difficulty (nearly everything looks hard), but it's really not about that for me. This is a great example of why I love Hammett's writing. So much mood and melody; it's so memorable that is sticks in your head note for note, and that to me is what really makes a great solo. It compliments the song perfectly.

I'd like it if you could do more to help transition in between the sections. I have no idea how I'm supposed to make the jump from section 2 to section 3, and the original track goes so quickly it's really difficult to listen for. Playing with a metronome might help too on the slower parts, there are parts where you seem to freeze on some notes. I'm guessing that's intentional, maybe for emphasis, but it's hard for me to really get an idea for the actual duration of each note
