CHROME NAILS WITH EYESHADOW?!

Doing chrome nails with eyeshadow! I saw it on tiktok and I had to do it because I always wanted to do chrome nails but don’t have chrome 😭 Eyeshadow did what it needed to do!

@@naisha2011 you have to use gel polish, because once you cure the gel polish, there is a tacky layer left on top, so once you apply the eyeshadow it has something to adhere to. Then use top coat to seal it all in. Hope this helps❤

I use eyeshadow loose pigments for my chrome looks.

Eyeshadow, eyeliner, use it all! Tip is to paint as usual: basecoat, polish, then add another coat of BASECOAT over the polish and the topcoat then add Eyeshadow, then the topcoat! The Eyeshadow will grip better in a polish sandwich ! Uk 🇬🇧 21.4.24

I did this! BUT!…my top coat started cratering after the first few fingers. Def keep another top coat on hand you don’t mind ruining. And make sure everything is properly cured.

I’ve been doing this since 2018 when I was in nail school 😂😂 If u think about it, what is she shadow but just literally pigment powder? I’ve mixed with gel, acrylic and applied like this as a chrome! It’s cheap too!

Apply gel top coat and then rub in the chrome, apply top coat on top again and cure

@@valeriaaa2007 i did exacally that but the top coat totally messed the chrome up 😔 not to mention i think iv messed up 3 top coat gels bc the chrome powder got into the bristles pretty good. Its So fusterating, iv watched many toutorials & have bought many different types of top coats & still i cant seem to get it right 😩
