Thank you so much for this! I’m just getting ready to do some maintenance to my 13’ Chrysler 200 and these videos really help! I was just about to get the AC professionally fixed, so you’re saving me a lot of money. The headlight video helped as well, thanks again!

Thanks! Just bought a 2010 Sebring today and noticed a clicking sound coming from the area around the glovebox. This looks like an easy fix.

You videos are awesome. I do have a question is my Chrysler 200 2013 will start to over heat when I am idle after driving for more than 30 minutes. Would you know what it could be?
@bbbjim1fixedit Жыл бұрын
you may wish to look at your coolant level, you should only add coolant when the engine is cold to avoid server burns. if you can see a leak, it should be fixed quickly. I have another video on sealing an internal leaking head gasket you may wish to view. it was done on a Chrysler 200: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mITCYYyIl9iEntU

So I ordered my Dorman part and it came with a paper saying that a reset process was required after installation or it wouldn't work properly. Said it required the use of a scan tool through the OBD-2 port. It looks like everyone here was able to fix without a reset? Any advice is appreciated 👍
@jeffwhitehead6243 Жыл бұрын
@@alicemaii I didn't use a scan tool at all. It was pretty much "plug n play." I hope that's your experience.

I changed the 2 on the passenger side . How do I access the actuator on the driver side ? Is there a short cut

if new out of the box, the actuator should be calibrated and ready to install. I wish you the best

Mine is not making a clicking sound but some other weird noises. I cant find exactly where the sound is coming from but my heat does not work so im figuring it has something to do with that.
@bbbjim1fixedit Жыл бұрын
you may wish to look closer at the actual blend door for it maybe stuck. I wish you the best on your repair

Do u have to unplug the car battery? In one video it says unplug the battery to avoid electrical shock
@bbbjim1fixedit2 жыл бұрын
most all repairs say to disconnect the battery for liability reasons. The voltage of the battery is not enough to give you a shock. I did this work without disconnecting the battery, yet you can if you feel more comfortable doing so but you will loose all the radio settings. I wish you the best on your repair

Would this have something to do if my ac if just blowing hot air
@bbbjim1fixedit4 ай бұрын
unlikely, since this part controls which vets the air comes out

@@bbbjim1fixedit would you happens to know what would cause the ac not to blow. Cold air 3 mechanicals I’ve taken it too haven’t found a problem with it

I’ve been trying to find a video on the third actuator location closest to the driver side (sounds like it’s left hand side of the stereo area) anyway I have no idea where to find that. Lmk anyone if you happen to!

I'm sorry this wasn't my car and I am unfamiliar with the location on the 200, hopefully someone can leave a comment to get you in the right direction. I wish you the best on your repair

They sometimes have a mind of their own. To get it to act up to ensure you are replacing the correct one, try turning the ac recirculation button on and off. I wish you the best on your repair
