Hello, thank you for this video. I was able to easily replace this actuator pin in my 2007 Chrysler 300c without any problems. However when I tried to drive the car for the first time after replacing it, my car had no acceleration. It would only go in idle speed. Could I have done something wrong putting this in? When i try starting my chrysler theres no cranck , but theres a click sound coming from where my gear shifter handle is at . Would that be the ignition?

Fuck yeah u r awesome man. Everyone kept saying its the relay or change the ignition out. Nope saved me some money. I thought the electric company was gonna have to kiss my ass for 2 weeks lol.

Just what I needed to fix my 300 - was dreading digging into the dash but got it apart w/no problems. And like the Pink Thingy problem, under-engineered junk from Mercedes engineers, designed to FAIL !

Will a faulty ignition switch cause a parasitic drain, anti theft light, and door chime to go off when the door is open (no key in and no lights on)?

Spray some white graphite in your doorjam and ignition. Its a can of dry lubricant. Sounds weird i know but i had the same problem in my expedition. It would say the door was ajar and the light would stay on. It might work on yours

will it start without the security system? my fob key broke and will not stay running because of the security system(key wont send a signal to the ignition when held next to it) can not afford to get it towed into a dealship to get a new fob key progranmed. please help

call a local locksmith they can get you fixed up cheaper than the dealership and usually do the work on site so you wont have to pay for towing

You used Dorman 924-704 (not for Chrysler 300) ignition switch actuator pin. Dorman 924-739 is correct actuator pin for Chrysler 300. Why did you choose -704? BTW, I was born in Waco 1946.
