Hydro harness just arrived. Great advice to get this. For someone 5'10" and girth-enhanced, such as myself, this is a fantastic set-up! Balanced front to back, which is critical to carrying stuff for any period. Even so, I had to take the straps in and up a lot to make this fit correctly. Just happy it does. I would not recommend this set-up for someone of more streamlined build. :)

+Xandrosi agreed!!! Skinny guys can wear it but it's made well for us bigger guys!! Glad you like it.

Sir, that's a very good review of the chest rig. THANKS! I have about the same build as you and it fits me very well. I notice when fully loaded, the top of the chest rig, the part just above the AR15 mags pulls away from my body a bit. Is there a way to adjust the shoulder straps or some other way of pulling the rig itself tighter against my chest? The strap that goes around at the bottom is fine and keep that part tight to my chest but the top of the rig seems a bit loose. THANKS again sir.

+Ghost Rider thanks!!! You might could adjust the shoulder straps and help tighten that up. Not really sure about that though. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hey bro how are the swivel nickels holding up . I was thinking of adding 2 more double msg pouches on each side to have the rifle mag count at 14 but I was wondering how the nickels and straps held up over a little use and time

Partner, that is a great video! I'm a big guy too, and I was wondering how well it would fit me. Unfortunately none of the guys our size seems to do videos, so it was great to see someone I can relate to, doing one. I wear the same rig and found it's a lot better than a vest, and I can run a second set of suspenders and attach them to my belt set up. That way my belt doesn't wind up around my ankles when I run. I like the Condor stuff myself, while the quality isn't what you'd call "military grade", it's good enough to handle everything I can throw at it in hiking, hunting and off trail exploring, and yeah, I do some run and gun too. Great job on the video my friend!

+Ken Parnell yeah I could definitely buy something with a lot better quality but this work great for me as well. Thanks for watching.

That's really the thing. I don't have unlimited resources, so I can get everything I have made out of military grade. The Condor stuff is good enough to handle the level of stuff I'm gonna put it through and it stands up to it nicely. Have a great one.

great review! I'm a big guy too, and I've been looking for a good chest rig. I think you just sold me on this set up. condor makes pretty good stuff. I have a couple of their bags that have lasted me years now

I’m a semi-big guy, 6’5” 230lbs, and the X-harness really does suck. I personally love the Condor Ronin split front rig that comes with an H-harness, but I run it with the Hyrdo Harness. Personally, I’d like it if Condor offered the Ronin’s slick H-harness as a separate piece that can be used to upgrade their other rigs.

Hello bud what is the model name and number of this chest rig. Having a hard time finding this specific rig.

Great video. Did you decide on the medical kit you wanted to attach? Thinking about approaching this by beginning with training and then buying a kit. I've looked at some of the KZbins on these kits and have no idea how to properly use most of the gear. As an example, I conceptually understand what a tourniquet is for, but how to correctly use one that's pre-packaged is a mystery. Would appreciate any recommendations.

+Xandrosi that's not a terrible idea. I like to think of it like this, I may not know how to use somethings in a medical kit but there might be somebody there who does. I would take a look at the vok from tactical response or dark angel medical makes some really nice kits also.

I'm debating on ordering it. the only thing is it looks like it sits really low on the body
@AKMTACTICAL8 жыл бұрын
It's a good rig. With the mags in it, it sits right at my sternum. Plus it's fully adjustable.

+AKMTACTICAL damn man that was a quick reply. I'm about 185. I have the chest rig but I'm looking into the back peace. I set mine up so it sits high. it's something to look into. have you sat in tour car/truck with it on. what I'm getting at is it functional with getting in and out of a victim.
@AKMTACTICAL8 жыл бұрын
+The Ghost war yeah I have sat in my truck with it on. It does good to me I have no trouble getting in and out with it on. You are a lot smaller than I am though but I don't think you would regret the hydro harness. It's great for making the rig not so front heavy too.

Ok, nicely done. I being a new shooter and all and a +++plus guy find this info very useful and encouraging. Q: Did you have to adjust any of the elastic chords when you ran the AK mags?
@AKMTACTICAL9 жыл бұрын
No I didn't. They are very stretchy.
