Not sure if you spotted it but deathrite shouldn’t be able to exile food chain, since deathrite can’t hit enchantments. Not sure it truly changes the game but thought it was neat to point out.

HOLY CRAP! I didn’t spot this and have been playing him wrong for forever. Or at least a bit love scared that I should have been. I never realized this for some reason and always thought it could get any card. In this game I could have gone for my cloudstone curio earlier!

Doesn’t change the outcome, as I would have just hit the Brain Freeze, which would have been his last remaining win condition if be had survived long enough to get the FC again. Notably, I did not have the rules text of DS written on my stolen copy 😔

Is there a reason Jason didn't put Yuriko on top of his deck as per the Submerge? It'll get milled, allowing him to put it back in the command zone anyway, but protects from losing the card (which might have been better than the Chrome Mox).

I don't know for sure, but he sort of lose a card drawing his commander instead of whatever is on top of his deck as he can already have access to his commander in the command zone.
