Steak n Gravy
Steak of choice ( cheap steak works great for this recipe)
onion
celery
bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tsp better than bouillon beef
garlic butter herb seasoning
garlic powder
soy sauce
salt free cajun seasoning
fresh thyme, rosemary
Creole seasoning

Cabbage
large cabbage
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
onion
1/2 bell pepper
3 cloves garlic
crushed red pepper flakes
garlic herb butter seasoning
salt
pepper
Pea Salad
5-8 eggs
1/4 red onion
salt
pepper
creole seasoning
2 tbsp sweet relish
1 1/2 tsp mustard
2 cans peas ( use a good quality brand if you can for best results)

LOVE this recipe; the only thing I do differently and this may be controversial for some people and an epiphany for others - I use frozen peas (usually just thawed at room temp) and that gives the salad such a crisp little fresh bite; ever since I first tried back in the day, I have NEVER used canned peas for anything else. Of course, this is always personal preference for people. I'm just not big on canned veggies: except tomatoes and kidney beans. Okay, and MAYBE beets, but that's it. lol

I make my cabbage similar to yours. It's honestly a winter staple at home When I cook for my parents, I don't add onion or garlic. Ma gets stomach issues with garlic. I toast up some cumin seeds in oil, add a dash of kashmiri red chilli, tumeric, garam masala and add some potato cubes to my cabbage. Dad loves it with rice or flatbread

i think the steak could work, but maybe cauliflower rice? the other items are pretty low carb and might work for you. or sometimes i only do 1/2 cup rice, then big portion of veggie and 1/2 cup pea salad
