My grown sons still get happy when I make macaroni and cheese with shell pasta. I haven't tried using the Alfredo sauce but have made it with a cream soup base. I cook big once a week, mostly veggies, then add whatever's needed during the week.

Alfredo sauce in the Mac and cheese is a great trick I’ve used a few times since I’m not good with making a roux. It’s not classic but it’s good. Everything you cook looks good!!!🥰

Love it! I've actually taken box or dare I say, frozen, mac and cheese, layered shredded cheddar cheese with my seasonings, and baked it until the top layer got bubbly and brown and it came out good!

I almost always make a roux. I never measure anymore, I just eyeball everything...but I use plant butter and plant based cream. If I use milk, it's lactose free milk and possibly whipped cream cheese (chive and onion flavored) and sour cream. Season to taste.

I like carmelized onions with my pierogis and a bunch of other stuff, but they take forever to make. I add water to the onions and cover them so they wilt faster. I also throw in some sweet soy sauce if I want them really quick. I also turn on the stove and let my pan heat up while I’m making the pancake batter.

Loved your video and your voice is so nice. I'm sure you really do love everyone and the meal was fantastic looking. I'm not sold on the cornbread though but that Salisbury steak is a winner. I think the cornbread would be good but I just think I prefer my regular way to make cornbread for a meal. This would be interesting to try out though.
