🆘 If anyone has a prayer request, Christi Wilkes (a trusted prayer warrior)would love to pray for you. Please comment with as much or as little as you would like to share. Christi does try to respond personally to every request. Also, If you’d like to know more about Jesus and the new life you can have in HIM, she’d love to share with you. “And this is the confidence that we have toward HIM, that if we ask anything according to HIS will HE hears us. And if we know that HE hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of HIM.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:14-15‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I never stop enjoying your videos. I find them inspirational and entertaining. The things you say that goes on between your husband and yourself I'm like yup done that can relate lol. Thank you for sharing about your family and showing your pics. I love seeing family pictures. Like I said before when you are in Heaven you are going to have the relationship you've always wanted with your Dad! Love to see you interview all your siblings! I'm one of those that parents are still married matter of fact their anniversary is Nov 30th, 1968. 53 years together. Even though you didn't have that you still have a wonder special relationship with your parents and siblings. Just as special as my family is to me. I think y'all are great. You have half siblings and you all get along and love each other that's is a HUGE BLESSING! Y'all are strong survivors should pat yourselves on the back. Everyone is alive, happy, and healthy some over come addictions. Loving the Lord. I'm proud of y'all! I hope y'all have a Blessed Thanksgiving and y'all have to make it up with Billy and have a belated thanksgiving with him! Love y'all!

We are a product of our environment. We look back to work it out, then we work on the present. Trauma and neglect affect our brains. It's called desregularían and it affects our lives how we deal with life and with people and relationships. Crappy Childhood Fairy on KZbin, and others too are helping people work through it.

I've long respected you for sticking up for (my wording) Mackenzie. I think you're actually very grounded/down-to-earth, despite the celebrity, celebrity lineage. You've obviously got something special about you (and Billy) to have such a long marriage, particularly among famous people from famous families. You are a good influence in this world, in my opinion, and a very cool, beautiful person. ETA: You have often told the truth about things that are hard (to face). I won't go into the woods citing examples, just times you've been describing something and it occurs to me 'Wow, that is totally such a truthful, grounded response to something very hard'. It's really appreciated.

Most of us have had challenging and complicated family relationships. I find it hard to believe that are "perfect" families. This is why we need our faith with a perfect Father - our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I'm happy to be part of this group that comes together in our faith. Thanks Chynna and all my Cal Preach friends here!! I'm a Long Islander and didn't realize you got married at the Catholic Church in Southampton - how beautiful!! Love these family stories. I have to pray daily for the Lord Jesus to take all the bitterness and unforgiveness out of my heart towards my 2 Hippie parents. I fluctuate between anger and pity for them. My mother joined a Guru cult and took a vow of poverty with me in tow after my Dad left. Thank God I had been saved a year earlier, at the age of 9, with help of a shut in stroke patient. That lady saved my life by teaching me about Jesus, and I can look back and see how the Lord protected me through it all. Unfortunately I have learned that people become what they worship. I have no contact with my mother, but my relationship with my Dad seems to be softening and getting better. All I can do is pray and give my pain to Jesus. Love you Chynna!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving :)

I found out about Sharon Tate because when I was 19 a friend of mine and I went to a psychic for entertainment. ( yes my mother told me never go to one) This psychic told me I was Sharon Tate in a past life. I later looked her up. I could not believe anyone could do that to another human being. just to be clear, I don't think I'm Sharon Tate. She was beautiful, lovely and innocent. I cannot imagine how she must have felt going through that and knowing her baby was going through it too. So very sad.

I went to driver's ed as a teen (I'm 49 now) with Sharon Tate's niece, I think, (could be cousin's child), who was also named Sharon Tate, after her. She said it was weird because not only did her family tell her stories, but the world mourned her, and she carried her name, only being able to see her on screen.

I am sorry Billy won't be there with you for Thanksgiving. Is he working on a TV show, film? Also, how are the siblings related through which parent? @@forthwrite9304 Sorry my first post was a little bit more of a knee-jerk reaction. I agree with your concerns about the drugs at the time. There was also too much “free love”. The song itself is just kind of a sweet melody with sweet lyrics about if you come to San Francisco, wear some flowers in your hair, you’ll meet some gentle people there and there will be a love-in there. The drugs and too much free love were not good, I agree. I just have a different stance to the lyricist and spirit of the song. Much of the summer of love and many of the things that happened in the 60s I found very distressing yet I know people who really loved it. Take good care, and sorry if my first post was offending.

I had someone share a humorous comment recently "I'm not gonna be happy until my parents start treating me better when I was a child" which speaks to the futility of hanging onto stuff. Accepting the things you cannot change and the wisdom to know the difference is something you must be gifted with. You shared some excellent advice I thought on your last video. My wish for you is that you could have lived just one day of my childhood❤️ just a glimpse of what it was like- As hard as I tried, I could not recreate what my parents created for me and my siblings. I mean, Bob and I did a pretty good job… but it just wasn’t the same. My sister and I know people don’t get it when we reminisce about home. We were not rich financially, but we always had a beautiful safe home, cute clothes, magical Christmases, the best family vacations piled in our wood paneled station wagon. My mom and dad we’re head over heels in love, and they loved us. The four of us kids were best friends. Our mom was such a great cook, and we loved dinner time around our round table laughing together and reciting ‘remember when’ memories. We had our own lingo and looking back it’s so silly! I wish you could have one day in my shoes! I always came home to mom and dad. My heart was saddened that you never experienced that! Xoxo Well- you Chynna- have created THAT for your kids!!! I can totally relate. I have four sisters but I am the only child of my mum and dad. I love all of my complex and complicated family. I often wonder how different I would of been if my mum and dad had stayed together. I definitely feel like the child from the other marriage. I feel like I don’t fit. Continue to try to find my self and I’m not even young. I’m so grateful for my mum who raised me. Even though there were troubles. We learn so much as we get older and realise we all have problems and behind closed doors we all have issues. Thanks for sharing you story.. I was walking with my husband today and found myself saying Jesus is my rock and that’s how I role. Love it. I continue to reach out to my faith, Ive been crap at that. So much room to be better. At my faith. Anyway thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for sharing. In a way, I feel like I have been part of your family as well since the 60s as I grew up with the music of your parents. Over the years I have adored MacKenzie's work, your Mom's work, and of course, your amazing career. We've come a long way to eventually find Jesus and what a memorable journey it has been.

Dear Chynna. I really enjoyed your video today. It was so good to see you going into the weekend. You have been such a blessing to me this past year. There were many mornings that I was barely hanging on to any joy and struggling with so much fear. I would watch a video and you seemed to say the perfect words to calm my mind. You shared so much of yourself and I could relate to you so much. I thank God for your beautiful honest messages. May God continue to bless you and your family and keep you safe and well 💕😊💕

I often can’t sleep so I just found your channel. I loved hanging out with you tonight. Loved the pictures and family stories. We are family in Christ, yes? If it weren’t for Jesus I’d be dead as I have tried to take my life. It appears He still wants me here. I anxiously await His return. My husband and I have been married for 44 years. I’m 61 and we married when I was 17 and he was 21. We have one child-a daughter that’s 39. Two granddaughters. We have been estranged for about 8 years now. I walk through life praising God yet I struggle daily with grief. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried everything to get a relationship back with my beloved daughter. I miss her dearly. I know God is able to restore it. His timing, His ways. Not my will, but Thine. God have mercy.

Chynna; By the time I was 48 my entire original family (mom, dad, and only sibling (sister) had passed on. My mom died 6 mos after my sister. She didn’t know us the last several years, she had full-blown dementia. I hear you, Chyyna, it’s amazing to hear other people’s parents/siblings are alive & well. Prayers. 🙏❤️🌺🎈P.S. I was a “flower-child” of 60’s and loved the Mamas & Papa’s! I saw them at the Monterey Pop Festival. 💃🏻 What a great fun 3 days that was!! I named my eldest daughter, Michelle, after your beautiful mom. 🌺 Praise Jesus in all His glory. ❤️🙏

I am so happy to say that your mom is a great friend of mine, and you are right, I love her. I remember running into you and Mitch at the airport. We were both on our ways to NY. Me to see my daughter and her family, you to get your wedding dress fitting with Vera Wang. I adore Austin and Aaron. I was crazy about Marika, and Bijou is a hoot. I miss all of them so much.

Chynna, I loved this video. You have a lovely family! That story of you & your brother was the first video I ever saw of yours & I just cried & cried for you that day because I could see how that situation had affected you so painfully. If I'm not mistaken that was over a year ago & I'm still here!:) You must never feel the need to hold back your tears for us as you did when speaking about your dad in this video, Chynna. I can understand the feeling. Your photographs are amazing reflections of the tapestry of your life. Even those of us, who's parents are still together, have our issues. Families can be complicated

How that record did not win a Grammy, I will never understand! Wonderful video. Its nice that you can share some inside stories/memories with the world. So many people nowadays are super closed off. All people deserve privacy, no matter who they are, what they do, but it's still nice when more intimate knowledge is shared with others. TY Chynna!
