I don’t take this out to grovel but anything 2+ works sick. The bigger the wave the better so far. Super springy and responsive. Paddles super well. Those AMT's with the trailer are epic with 2+1 fin placement i.e fronts at 10 inches rather than 11. The trailer is actually forward in the box so you get a tighter cluster which does feel twitchy in a standard HPSB thruster placement, but in a board designed for 2+1 they're better than any thruster in small waves.

Absolutely ripped this one,Noel! Here's my experience with the DD2: My normal size/liter range is 28-29. I thought going up to 29.3 liters with the 5'8 would be great for smaller waves and paddle power. Unfortuately, the stock 5'8 feels quite bulky and too heavy for my preference. I might go custom and get spinetek or team light. I had a custom NB2 in team light and it was great. The deck actually held up really well.
