democracynow.org - In a broadcast exclusive interview, Democracy Now! interviews John Kiriakou, a retired CIA agent who blew the whistle on torture. In 2007, Kiriakou became the first CIA official to publicly confirm and detail the Bush administration's use of waterboarding. He's just been released from prison to serve the remaining three months of his 30-month sentence under house arrest, and joins us from his home in Virginia. When asked if he thinks NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden would receive a fair trial if he returns to the United States, Kiriakou responds, “Not under any circumstances. ... I think the deck is stacked against him as it is against any whistleblower.”

They got their hands caught I'm the "cookie jar" and they are ashamed in their hearts and angry in their posturing.😳😡 He can never come back, until 'we the people in order to form a more perfect Union' get off our collective arses and force a pardon for his brave act... In other words, he can never come back. 😪 History, however will see him as a hero...😇

Fair or not, it is tempting to think a trial is the last think they want to see, so to prevent it they revoked his passport..

He obviously doesn't see the abuses, or he wouldn't dream of getting a pardon. I protest these changes. And, btw, all the info Snowden had is in the hands of the Russians. Again, he hasn't seen all the abuses.

Snowden gave nothing to the Russians. He took no info with him. He gave it all to journalists. They cannot torture the info out of him, bc he can't access the info from Russia. He set it up that way, thus blocking any way out for him if they get rough,

@@elizabethcsicsery-ronay1633 no, you should see our other intelligence agents. I've known my whole life that they're demonic as Hell and only know they have "control" in the moment and nothing else. How could they possibly let Snowden happen? He wasn't even smart enough to be there. He had some device and a laptop. They could easily hack it for one thing, and they can also do something else. He keeps speaking, and we all know who is talking. Russians are funny, too, but they know they will pay if they do bad things. I do laugh at Durov. I wonder how "special" he feels? As in the US, they will simply corner his "beliefs" and say, do you want the red pill or the blue pill? Remember snacks aren't until 10. It's time for group on the ward. He'll have to watch out for "angels" there. Can't talk about those either.
