The only thing stopping this from being a perfect match was a lack of Yata lock. I still have nightmares of being 10 years old with a Kaiba Evolution starter deck facing three rounds of Chaos at a local.

@@dinojon7507 I'm assuming this is how it went down 1) Your opponent summons Accesscode Talker 2) Your opponent activates its trigger effect to target one of its Link materials and gain ATK (Chain Link 1) In that case, no, you cannot activate any card be it Nibiru or Imperm or whatever since you cannot respond to it

The fact that this video speaks volumes to older players, people who truly love the game from brith to now, where it’s almost not real but more real than it’s ever been...is why when we come back, we should have “weight classes” in OFFICIAL EVENTS. Just think, Yu-Gi-Oh! Built for everyone. Even the damn trolls lawl. Just sayin...think about it. It may not be perfect, but for a game we love, it would be healthy.

It was a cool format, but it was a little stale I think. Theres a ton more decks you can play now, which I like a lot more. But this is definitely a format that would make things interesting and fun for a few games just to mix it up.

​@@РусскиПатриот Completely subjective. I think the real Yugioh with the decks today is even more fun. I like how fast the game is. I like the interaction on opponent's turn. Simply relying on top-decks turn after turn just to draw a monster to attack with or a blow-out monster removal spell/trap isn't very interesting to me after 2 or 3 games. Especially when its some beat down level 4 monster lineup with some sangans and the same 20 spell/traps over and over again. I enjoy the variety. Sure there are some staples, but at least at the casual local level in the game today, I rarely play against the same deck twice at a tourney. Other games with Rotation like Magic and Pokemon don't have that level of variety, and their formats are solved much quicker than Yugioh's. Yugioh's speed and its immense selection of cards are what make it special and exciting.
