ND fan here… Estime would be the perfect compliment to Moss and Brown. His pro day 40 was solid for such a muscular stature. Cam Hart was their best corner at times while sharing the field with a future 1st rounder at the other corner spot. Would be home run picks

Not only no first round pick, but no left tackle! Mims is right tackle. If he's giving up next year's first, he should get next year's left tackle at 18, not Mims.😂 Fautanu could play guard this year and tested fine to play left tackle where he played in college.

I'd try to trade down into late 1st Rd and add another 2nd Rd pick if possible. We'd still be able to get a DT, CB, IOL Edge or RT with our first pick and could add two other blue chips in the 2nd round. It would really help adding depth.

9:03 like the trade. It seems unlikely to go through. Swapping 1sts and adding a 3rd? I’d think this year first rounder is worth more than next years first rounder. Bird in the hand worth more than 2 in the bush type of thing. Feels like we would have to trade our 2nd and maybe a 5th or 6th on top of next years 1 or 2. I’m fine with giving up picks. I think we almost have to trade up somewhere as we don’t have enough roster spots.

Aren't future round picks usually valued as thought they are middle of the round? It depends on what Tampa Bay is valuing though. Detroit might be a better trade partner and we could still get Johnny Newton there I think.

@@wanderlking8634 middle round expected for the Bengals (9-8 season)? That would be a failure of assumptions for Tampa Bay. We aren’t the Chiefs but it would be a bad bet. Jake in his own trade suggests it would be #32.

i am definitely on the fence about taking Mims. Hes a big guy and has the physical tools but has not played much ( like 8 starts though 29 total game appearances in total) and partly due to injury. The Bengals seem to struggle with the O line getting better. Despite having invested a lot in free agents. It doesnt seem like any of our project O linemen have panned out at all. So we are taking a guy purely based on his size and presumed high ceiling??? i think I would take a guy who is more polished and suited to fill in at right tackle. If your goal is that this pick is someone who will shift to the left side in 2 years potentially i guess i see that strategy. but over the years the Bengals have whiffed too many times taking O linemen in the first round.

Why is there no Theo Johnson hype? I have gotten him with the second pick in the 4th in all my drafts. 6 foot 6 268 pounds ran a 4.51 40 at his pro day which is insane for a tight end and at that size. Dude is an athletic freak.

if we take another wide receiver this year but end up trading Tee Higgins i think we need to get another outside receiver with height and weight like Tee. (6'4" 219). sometimes there is no substitute for physical stature to go up and take the ball. some of the other names mentioned are small 6' and under along with small frames 180 to 190 range. If we keep Tee then i think we can take one of these smaller receivers.

That's just not true. Free agency is there for a reason. They don't have to do anything. They can keep all 10 picks. It's smart to have a lot of picks. It gives you all the flexibility in the world

He's unproven as a pass blocker at this point and is a right tackle only. Left tackle is the most important pass protection position, so if you draft a tackle #1, it should be a left tackle. I thought these guys had more sense.

We can't scheme up a pass rush with our linebackers. We need an edge rusher or top tier linebacker and you guys just don't value the pass rushers. At least Jake traded up for Newton and drafted Beebe to fix the interior line. James' mock would just get us beat.
