You guys are all great. Not just 3 of you but almost all bengals media podcast hosts. It the subject matter thats gone on too long and its not your faults. At a minimum the draft should be the weekend after The Masters. Or even earlier. Theres no more to discuss over analyze mock or critique. Everyone has done thorough film studies and narrowed our preferred picks down to a certain list of guys we all want or need. Problem occurs when our front office goes outside this list and we end up with Renard Wilsons Cedric Obueyhis Billy Prices John Ross' Drew Samples Jackson Carmens of world who none you-us wanted in those spots. Like if this years first round pick was someone like Cam Hart or Spencer Rattler.. we've all read mocked analysis by paralysis.. lets get on with drafting

The plan: i think it makes the most sense to put Dax Hill at Right Cornerback. Just get him a lot of reps. "RCB" That's where they can maximize his playing time, and continue building his IQ as a Defensive Back.

Love that plan. For some reason James and Jake think we have mismanaged him. His rookie year he played emergency corner when guys went down and Bates was still on the roster. I trust hat if the coaches trusted him to do it then, they still trust him to step into more of a corner role now. They wanted to upgrade the safety position with geno and see potential in Dax at corner. Fully support the move

Also having a contingency plan for life after Bates was smart. It didn’t work out for Dax at free safety, now we can help him be more successful in the league. It wasn’t a wasted pick

The most sense is to use dax in a draft day trade. Dudes a dud. Only shot imo is as a Hilton role. Get em ready for that for when Hilton is done. He played a lot of that at Michigan. If not get rid of em

I don't get your take on Dax. Seems like the plan from everyone was to play him at free safety, he just didn't do well at it last year. Sure maybe he moves to salvage it, but I don't see the disconnect internally, maybe just wrong take by them. Commenting on draft picks in hindsight is the easiest and most worthless thing ever. Would love you all to do a retro on your draft faves.

Love Joe, great input on how a high end pick can fail for multiple reasons and it isn't linear. It's tough to see teams drafting lineman such as the Cowboys and see those guys succeed inside and outside and we can't even find a guy to succeed at one spot, makes you wonder where the real issues may come from.

I think they're better at drafting offense. Even Sample has produced more than the other 1-3 round picks on the defensive side. Heck even Carman helped us win a playoff game against the Ravens and Bills.
