The ending definitely ticked off the programmer side of my brain to no end. He is literally copying his code to every other bot in the world and yet can't copy his code to himself? Shoot, he could've even copied his code to a new, undamaged body. There is absolutely no reason for this "sacrifice" nonsense.
@washedblue2 жыл бұрын
I know little about programming but I knew several things in the film, especially towards the end, must've gotten to any programmers in the crowd lol. how'd you feel about Barney "finding" Ron in their databank/server room? like, how does that even work?? or the bots being immediately jailbroken just by touching each other? Ron's "coding" being.. a cork-board of post-it notes?
@Velossitee2 жыл бұрын
Maybe there were restrictions to self duplicate as if the robot could create a virus with no sentinel values? It's possible. Also, as a newbie programmer and advanced ideologist (writer assured), I can definitely announce that there needs to be conflict within a villain/hero story. WELL at least generally.. there have been tweaks writers have used to create wonderous new stories from scratch that botched the whole fixed permanent conflict within a story for an ending most interesting but of course you got some small fry working shit straight off and fresh from the college train... So I agree with ya there..

Actually, as an asthmatic, if a kid is having a mild attack and they have their inhaler they then need to sit down and chill while they take it and wait for their airways to open up again, unless it’s super serious (which considering he’s walking and talking clearly to her, that wasn’t the case) sitting down is the best thing you can do alongside taking your inhaler, which he clearly has in his hand. That teacher was right, lol, though someone should’ve stayed with him in case he started to die or something.
@RialVestro2 жыл бұрын
It's not shown in the edit here, but in the actual movie he says he needs to get his OTHER inhaler implying that the one he's holding is in the red zone and he has a back up probably stored in his locker some where. Though inhalers have a counter right on the top that shows how many uses it has left. It's not entirely accurate, the counter only changes after every 20 uses and when it's down to 20 left that's the "red zone" I'm aware as an asthmatic yourself that you'd be aware of this already but I'm explaining this for any random readers who wouldn't know how inhalers work. I use one myself. Oddly I didn't have issues breathing till around 2018. I live in California and one of my neighbors pointed out that the entire neighborhood has had to start using inhalers because of all the fires, there are days were it looks like it's snowing in the summer and/or it's really foggy outside but it's actually smoke and fire from a nearby fire. I had nights where I was sleeping outside on the porch in a lawn chair in the middle of actual snow in the winter cause I couldn't breath also for some reason I only seem to ever have issues when I'm at my ex's house, something about that neighborhood maybe a mixture of being at higher elevation plus the smoke in the air. I almost never use my inhaler at home but feel like I have to sleep with it at her house. I don't know. Does being around people who cause you stress make you more prone to an asthma attack?
@RubyBlueUwU2 жыл бұрын
@@RialVestro not all inhalers have counters (I’ve only ever had one kind with one, and I’ve tried about 15 different ones in my life) and there’s many, MANY different kinds with different meds in them, I’ve not seen the film but based on that I’m guessing he’s going to get his preventer inhaler - relievers are for immediate relief in the moment and preventers have stronger, longer lasting effects. Also I’ve had certain neighbourhoods where my breathing is worse than others, it can have to do with air pollution, fires, plants, basically all manner of things can make it worse some places than others!

I really liked the movie, up until the end. My biggest issue was more that it went from “you have to know everything about me, so you can be my friend“ to the exact opposite, where the kids weren’t in control of what they wanted to do. And that really bothered me. Also it was the same exact ending, only not as good, as big hero six.

@LunarKnight222 жыл бұрын
@@myaedelman The B Bots seemed to come out of their rest mode and cycle through whatever they wanted to cycle through to be the theme of the moment. Like in the video one kid looks at his B Bit and it’s talking about what I’m guessing is supposed to be my little ponies. And it doesn’t seem to care what the kid likes or doesn’t like, its all about what the bot is in the mood for. The “friendships“ just swapped from being all about the humans, to all about the bot. And while there are friendships that are one-sided, generally speaking friendship is about both people involved. Not about you molding yourself to things I like, or me just accepting whatever it is that you were in the mood for in that moment and having to go along. These robots are just a discount version of Bobert from the Amazing World of Gumball. Also, the Bobert robots are 10x better than these things, because they can fly and they have weapons.

14:43 That's just this movie's way of depicting infrared. Still sin-worthy because infrared is not on the visible spectrum. The bulbs on remotes are LEDs. Also they got hit by an infrared scan that somehow didn't pick them up. Barney somehow has no body heat?

everyone who knows anything about programming had never cringed so hard since they found out about tiktok until seeing this movie (a film i didn't know existed until i saw this video by the way). and im surprised you didnt mention how ron is basically just a smaller baymax.
