Excellent demonstration BUT cool down the music that can be highly obstructive to what you want to sell

Great video, thanks for all the info. Regarding the 12 mm laowa lens, the fact that there is no autofocus is not a disadvantage?
@svensmediahouse2 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear. With a wide lens you generally want everything to be in focus. I stick to the infinity focus and generally works for everything!!

Thanks a lot. Really needed this. I am looking to get started on some free gigs. I still need to get a drone though. Great shot ideas here. Thanks again.

When using the Laowa 12mm, do you use any stabilisation in camera? and if so do you use standard or active?
@svensmediahouse Жыл бұрын
Just standard!
@svensmediahouse Жыл бұрын
Maybe a smidge of post stabilization but not too much as it creates too much distortion

What settings worked best in there for you. Do you change your f-stop from scene to scene?
@svensmediahouse3 жыл бұрын
Hey Nick! F8 or above for outdoor and Indoors f 5.6 or lower. Night time I'll drop my f-stop to f1.4

why Laowa 12mm f/2.8 better than Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 ??? cant find any comparisons on your tube
@svensmediahouse2 жыл бұрын
Personally I feel as if the Laowa feels of a higher quality in terms of the build. it's like metal vs a more plastic. I've watched tons of reviews and the higher end filmmakers are using the laowa. tbh it's my favorite lens when it comes to architecture

Great video. Looking forward to more. Agree with the other person who said the music was a bit distracting, but anyway, can't fault your work, or the info given. Subbed.

Great video. Do you have settings for each shot? I noticed the callout to Josh, did you use slog2, like he does?
@svensmediahouse3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, usually I'll stick with f8 or higher for outdoor exterior shots. Then indoor it varies from f1.4 to f5.6. Shutter speed will vary but generally keep It double my frame rate unless using a variable ND. Yep - using pp8 cine picture profile with some added saturation. Make sure you have basic understanding of color grading before shooting in Slog
@Peter-mm4ot2 жыл бұрын
Do you use any ND Filters? or do you adjust the f stop according to each room?
@svensmediahouse2 жыл бұрын
with lower apertature lens on a bright day I'll use a variable nd.. but if its night time or overcast I'll just go without!
@svensmediahouse2 жыл бұрын
definitely always adjusting the f-stop for each shot tho

Cool vid! If your open to a little criticism the music was a little overbearing. Love the shots! Looking at picking up a laowa 12mm myself.

Thanks for the feedback! Let me know how you like the 12mm laowa
@riggssymonds93843 жыл бұрын
is it hard to focus the 12MM? Ive never used a fully manual lens.
@svensmediahouse3 жыл бұрын
I generally set it to infinity focus so I do not run into any issues with it! I also generally will use a higher f-stop and leave the lower f-stop shots for my 50mm 1.4 or 24 to 70mm 2.8
@svensmediahouse3 жыл бұрын
the lens is a game changer
