Veggie Tales had a Christmas Special called "The Toy Who Saved Christmas" which was explicitly about how commercialization and greed have had an insidious and destructive effect on Christmas. Now let's look at Saving Christmas and : do I even need to bloody explain what Veggie Tales did right and what Mr. Kirk Cameron did wrong? I hope I don't! I also wish a Happy New Year to any who read this. This film is the living definition of ironic. Cameron set out to create this work of art that glorifies his faith and instead created a monstrosity that is nothing but comedy gold for his opponents. He tackled the most important subject in his life, something he has spent years pursuing, and screwed it up so badly that as long as there is video streaming he will be held up to ridicule until finally people forget completely about it.

This is one of my top-five favourite KZbin channels and whenever a new video drops, I'm onto it as soon as I can. The videos are well made, the script is always funny and the presentation is uniformly top-notch (even in the very earliest videos, I could see the potential behind the endearing ropiness). This channel should be far bigger than it is because it deserves a much wider audience. Anyway, Merry Christmas, Mr Smeghead. Not everyone had good experiences on Xmas Not everyone has family or friends to spend Xmas with We are a circular society now and lots of people have religions that don’t celebrate Xmas, such as Judaism or Islamism If people ask you to keep the volume low on Xmas, it’s because they’re trying to sleep and he’s probably being too loud Some people just don’t like Xmas because of how much of a corporate holiday it has become. Too much hot chocolate is bad for you!

The "Last Adam" thing is from the Bible where in both Romans and 1st Corinthians Jesus is called the 2nd Son of God; Adam being the first. The passages compare the two - "by one we're cast into sin and death, by he other life" - to loosely paraphrase. The actual phrase "Last Adam" is used in 1 Corinthians 15:45, if anyone is curious.

While Nicholas was most likely not at the Council of Nicea, I hardly think he was imposing his views on others; he was refuting the idea Christ isn’t divine. If anything, he would have fought against “Christ not divine” being imposed on others.

This movie is the ravings of a nutbar. Seriously, the idea that anyone takes Kirk Cameron seriously is mind boggling. The man has a persecution complex the size of Africa. Christians basically run the country. Just because its not a theocracy doesn't mean you're persecuted my guy.

As a second generation, diagnosed schizophrenic who's currently in remission and studying psychology in school; disordered speech, incapability of thinking succinctly, and delusions are all three characteristics of schizophrenia. There are more, but a psychologist or psychiatrist would only need three to make the diagnosis. What I'm saying is, Kirk, if by some miracle you're reading these comments, get help. *I'm only speculating, not diagnosing*

I guarantee Falwell Jr would still be in charge of Liberty University had the pool boy been female. Evangelicals love their redemption moments, and adultery is one thing, but gay adultery isn't something they're going to tolerate. Granted, they still love their redemption story, so if he waits a few more years, and claims to have been "forgiven" or "healed" or something, he'll be right back in their good books.

I think the thing about the cloth was his VERY TENUOUS way of connecting WRAPPED gifts to Jesus.... The man is fing insane.
