I absolutely love watching Christian apologists and polemicists. I think Al Fadi and Jay Smith are two of the most genuine and gentle people in these groups. I have recently been able to talk to a co-worker who is Muslim and he has invited me to speak with a teacher at his mosque. I have been able to meet with them both to discuss their faith and why they believe in Islam. I look forward to content like this video as fuel to burn for my passion of showing the love of Christ to all people (in this case our lost Muslim brothers). Lord willing and you read this comment, please pray for me as I move forward with my relationship with these men. Also, feel free to share any advice you may have for this situation as I look to show these men that they have been deceived their entire lives but also to do so with a genuine love such as you have for your Arabian brothers. the written text of Quran is not needed as longs as there enough Muslims in the world that memorise it. That will never change, because in every day and age until the day of judgement there will always be millions who memorise it. Most Muslims memorise at least part of the Quran to use in their daily prayers. the are 1.8 Billion Muslims in the world and most of them memorise at least part of the Quran.. what more protection can you get ? use your common sense people

There is a slight distinction in Mushaf and Quran, so what specifically are you asking? Many Muslims confuse the two terms, but Mushaf are "divine writings" that also include Taurat and Injeel. Quran was Muhammad's Mushaf, transmitted to him by "Jibreel". "Musaf" is something totally different, coming from a Jewish belief. I think you've confused your terminology.

I don't want the Hadiths, read. I have those. I have the commentaries in English. What I'd like is to listen to these early manuscripts and read along, aya by aya with my Hafs to hear the difference. *Warrior Linda Clark* "Musaf" is a Jewish belief, "MusHaf" (with the "h") is what you're trying to say. Sometimes, a single letter makes a humongous difference in Semetic languages. So, you want to hear the different Quranic Mushaf. But, good luck in your request! Puin's assessment of the Sana'a MSS was all over the internet when it was first published, but that was many years ago, so I don't know if the link to the actual newspaper can still be found. It probably does exist somewhere in a YT search, and it's a fascinating scholarly assessment of this early collection of MSS. He had to smuggle more than 30K digital images of the different MSS pages out of Yemen, because the government didn't want this knowledge made public. I did save Puin's assessment: "My idea is that the Koran is a kind of cocktail of texts that were not all understood even at the time of Muhammad. Many of them may even be a hundred years older than Islam itself. Even within the Islamic traditions there is a huge body of contradictory information, including a significant Christian substrate; one can derive a whole Islamic anti-history from them if one wants. The Qur’an claims for itself that it is ‘mubeen,’ or clear, but if you look at it, you will notice that every fifth sentence or so simply doesn’t make sense. Many Muslims will tell you otherwise, of course, but the fact is that a fifth of the Qur’anic text is just incomprehensible. This is what has caused the traditional anxiety regarding translation. If the Qur’an is not comprehensible, if it can’t even be understood in Arabic, then it’s not translatable into any language. That is why Muslims are afraid. Since the Qur’an claims repeatedly to be clear but is not-there is an obvious and serious contradiction. Something else must be going on." I think there was a fatwa threatened if Puin published a book of his findings.

But the Bible teaches, IN EVERY PLACE in the Bible, that Satan is a fallen Angel that God threw out of heaven. You're quoting modern Islamic Scholars who are trying to substantiate the Qur'an. You do know that the Old Testament was written nearly 3000 years before the Qur'an? And the Gospel 600 years before the Qur'an? Did you even LISTEN to Dr. Jay and Al Fadi speak about how your Qur'an actually CONFIRMS the Bible at the time Qur'an was written? The Bible we have TODAY says the same things as the Bible at the time of Muhammad. Do a Qur'an check for confirmation of Bible. Your Imam doesn't WANT you to know this. If you read the Gospel, you will see the huge difference between the two Books- Qur'an and Bible.

Yes, the Uthman codex has this level of support today. True. However, you seem to forget or are maybe unaware that although the Uthman codex was canonized under the reign of Caliph Uthman, it still underwent three hundred years of revisions between 700 and 1000 AD transforming it from the rasm script to the scripta plena. God's message evidently needed to be made clearer. Despite Uthman ibn Affan's best attempt to destroy all the different versions of Allah's revelation, other codices still exist today e.g. the Sana'a manuscript which contain 5000+ deviations. This are facts and it is our duty as authentic and upright believers to embrace the truth, whatever it may be. All the best.

Yesterday (June 21, 2018), someone from DCCI (Hatun I think, but he/she did not say their name) told me that Topkapi is not complete. That's fine. I understand that the manuscripts that are commonly mentioned are not complete; my question is what is the oldest Quran manuscript that actually is complete, textual variants aside?

I will not explain this here but I advice you to read the tafsir (detail) by Ibn Kaseer of the verses of the Quran quoted in this video. Furthermore, the proof that your religion is corrupted... Christians are not even following the present Bible we have today... Certain beliefs of the Christianity are not found anywhere in the Bible.

*Console Dev* Hey, help a gal out here, Console! I've been studying the Quran for nearly 17 years, and Allah had 500+ years to examine all of Paul's teachings, but never once condemns him as false. Allah does however seem to have ripped Muhammad's aorta in two, just as he threatened to do with liars [S 69.44 - 46}. Allah also commands his Muslims to come to the people of the book to clear up their confusion, but never the other way around. In fact, this daft numen of Islam commands people of the book to use the Taurat, the Injeel, and ALL that we have received from OUR Lord, as our standard for all judgments. So, are you saying that Allah was stupid to make such statements? Is he too ignorant to clearly express himself? Is stupidity a divine attribute? Allah claims the Quran is a clear book (11.1; 12.1; 16.89; 27.75; 34.3; 36.12); easy to understand (44.58, 54.22, 54.32, 54.40); explained in detail (6.114); explaining everything (16.89) conveyed clearly (5.16, 10.15); with no doubt in it (2.1); with clear ordinances (98.3); decisive (86.13) of divine nature (10.37); and full of wisdom (2.32; 43.4; 36.2). It's full of something, for sure, but it isn't wisdom. Is stupidity a divine attribute? If my morals and intelligence are superior to anything found in Allah's words, why would I ever submit to such a numskull as this Muslim god? I've heard the best and the worst of Muslims arguments, and none of them are cleared for take-off on a civilized runway. The first 4 mins 41 seconds is not really saying anything we didn't already know. All Muslims in the know, are aware that the Quran talks about other books, because the other books that were revealed before I mean "the untampered versions" are the word of god, and are considered previous versions of Islam. They were correct and book to be followed at the time they were revealed for the people they were revealed for, and when a new book comes it takes precedence over the old book, the final book that was revealed is the Quran. Muslims believe that as a new book was revealed believers shooul follow the new book, then the next then the next until the final revelation of the Quran.. if there was another book that came after the Quran as a book from god following that , then it would be the book to be followed, but we all know there wasn't another book after the Quran. That's why all Muslims believe that the other books are the word of God and should have been followed when they were revealed and anyone who followed them was following the word of God, but you can't stop at one of the books and say I'm not following the rest.. that what we believe Jews and Christians have done..they stoped at a previous book and refused to progress to the next when it was revealed. It really shows the ignorance of Al-Fadi and how little he knew about Islam when he was a Muslim.

Why are you allowing 400 years after Christ (4th century) for there to be books yet for the Quran must be less than 1 century? The reasons in the differences in surahs is very simple, some surahs have been combined to make 1 instead of 2. The text is the same. The chapters were put in modern times to make it easier. Just some disagree whether it was all one revelation or two seperate revelations.

the point is why dont the muslim world have a quran from that time period since they claim that it was completed at that time period... The bible never made the claim it was completed in 1st century... The bible was a compilation of books...not a single book lile quran.. secondly we have no books from that time period for its all been destoryed...what we have is copies....all the history we have are from much older manuscripts... Say, "My Lord is the best knower of their number." Only a few knew the correct number. Therefore, do not argue with them; just go along with them. You need not consult anyone about this. [29:46] Do not argue with the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians, & Muslims) except in the nicest possible manner-unless they transgress- and say, "We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters." GOD has sent a mathematical miracle to prove that proves that Quran is the true word of GOD. The tampering of the word of GOD is in detail explained here if you go to this link here you will see for yourself how Quran proves just like the number of chromosomes in each cell of our body is calculated and how everything. Korny Kpop Al-Fadi is a Christian. His dress is common in the Middle East, and was even before the colonization of the area by Arab Muslims. The Persians dressed like that when they went to battle, for example.
