I've heard about this theory from Dan Gibson which I believe is the founder of this research. As such fascination on this subject lead me here. As I've been watching, you've been repeating a lot of what he's been saying which is fine but no reference to him whats so ever? His versions (Dans) also differs. For example, he believes that Mohammed was a real being whilst backing it up but here it seems you've cherry picked what seemed favorable to you from Dans research, added in some references here and there and made it sound as if this is the definitive and undisputed version of the events. Also your website seems to entrench Islam and politics by relating it to all the drastic events going on related to Islam across the globe and using that as a tool to covert Islamic people to Christianity. As you guys are Americans, need I remind that many of these drastic islamic events have America's fingerprint all over it so your credibility is extremely low and perhaps even insulting to many Muslims. Furthermore as a graduate and as such from a scholarly perspective, I cannot accept this video as the purpose of research is to state your theory, support it then state the missing factors. As i've previously pointed out, you've made it sound like as if these are the definitive version. Also you guys seem to have an agenda which can result in bias research. They do not hide their faith, there is no deception here. jay is a debator, presenting an argument, of course there is a certain perpective. about the coin , it is innacurate. The first coin with the Shahada dates 686 and it was done by Ibn al-Zabīr, exactly the one that was fighting Abd al-Malik. I'm a Christian, but it seems that you are not aware of this coin, which would contradict the Theory you are trying to develop.

Well if you take this program and believe it, this is a question on what you call a mosque. A place to worship god? Then it's the first jewish temples. In the first arabic translation of the bible aprox 900 AD God is mentioned as Allah. If you see the mosque as a place of followers of Muhammed it's in the 8th century

Jason Smith: Yes and No. What seems to have happened is that there was a civil war in the 2nd Umayyad dynasty, and it looks like the leader of Petra in rebellion with Damascus, destroyed the Kabaa at Petra, took the black stone, had it rebuilt at at Mecca. And the 3rd Abbasid dynasty (750AD+) hated the 2nd, cooperated with that same leader and wove the hadiths and certainly rewrote 1 verse in the Quran, possibly the Sirat as well. And this was so successful, that all Muslims since then have forgotten that Petra was the 1st Mecca, the place Muhammad's life revolved round until Dan Gibson uncovered the evidence. After all more 1000 years have passed. Dan Gibson has done extraordinary work. He has certainly cleared up the mystery of Saudi Arabia Mecca. It is fake. Nevertheless there are still mysteries about Islam, namely the words Quran, Muhammad, Muslim & Islam. We don't know when these terms were first used. Were they retrofitted by Abu Malik? They seem to have sprung up into existence after 690AD, almost 60 years after Muhammad's death. Perhaps Muhammad was a brigand and similarly the first 4 Caliphs, and Abu Malik retrofitted Muhammad as a prophet. Against this is questions like, "If this is true, how were Arabs unified to challenge Roman & Byzantine rule?", "If this is true, how did the Sunni & Shia schism develop?"

Stephen Howe Incorrect! Ali ibn Abi Taleb Compiled the Quran in Chronological order. He made sure that what was compiled was accurate! Form there his children and children’s children’s preserved it! Jay’s charts are inaccurate. He puts 15-60 years about the first gospel. But when debating others he never says below 60 years. This in itself demonstrates what he would do to look good!

The literary evidence from the 1st and 2nd centuries confirms the existence and the death by crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. . Geographic evidence confirms the existence in the 1st century of the towns and landscape features described in the Gospels which were written within 60 years of Jesus. Archaeological evidence supports details such as temples, city walls, wells, gardens etc. that are mentioned in the Gospels. The same methods are now being applied to Islam by Western and/or Christian scholars. Such detailed analysis is discouraged . The facts that are emerging from these studies conflict with a great many beliefs that seem basic to Islam, for example, the city of Mecca almost certainly did not exist i the 6th century, at the time when Mohammed is said to have been born there.

Of course. The purpose of this study is not to find the “truth” or true religion, because there is no such thing. The purpose is to tamper religion with reason. This is the reason why the Jews don’t do animal sacrifices anymore or stoning adulterous women, although those practices were mandated in the Torah (and the Christian Old Testament). Tamper nowadays usually means to "interfere" or "contaminate" rather than to "moderate". Secondly, the line "all religious propaganda" is inappropriate. The scriptural texts may IN PART be propaganda, but in general they are not. "God will give us the power to overthrow our enemies" is propaganda. "God will slay all those who do not follow these teachings" is propaganda. "There are these three important things- faith, hope and love for others. The most powerful of these is love for others.." This is not propaganda. Not unless you are going to label all philosophy and all teaching as propaganda.

There is a hadith that states an army will attack Imam Mahdi but then they will be swallowed by the groud at a location called Al Bayda (see below) Al-Khasf bi l-Baydāʾ (Arabic: الخَسف بالبَیداء) or Khasf al-Baydaʾ (Arabic: خَسف البیداء) is an incident in which the Earth will swallow the land, al-Bayda', that is, the collapse and defeat of the army of Sufyani in the land of al-Bayda', a desert between Mecca and Medina. Where is Al Bayda? Beidha (Arabic: البيضا‎ al-baīḍā, "the white one"), also sometimes Bayda, is a major Neolithic archaeological site a few kilometres north of Petra near Siqal-Barid in Jordan.

The argument of Petra is unfortunate as it appears contrived and it weakens a good point on how early mosques faced away from Mecca until the 8th century. Should it not be obvious in terms of Abrahamic monotheism that Jerusalem was the first qibla as this was the site of the first grand mosque and the other mosques are facing towards Jerusalem? The reason for changing the qibla is to benefit Mecca but also to disassociate from a Christian/Jewish city.

Josdamale there were four different qiblas in history, according to the recent findings. First was Petra/Becca, Jerusalem, Mecca and in between Mecca and Becca (the time of confusion after second war when the black stone has been moved and there were Ummayads and Abbasins ruling both at the same time).

How the battle of badr was fought between makkah and madinah when the carvan was returning from damascus to makkah not to petra because petra is in North ??? hussami khaldoun Persians were the literate and educated people at that time, Arabs was just nomadic desert people who didn't care about reading and writing. They authored 95% of Hadith of Muhammad but didn't even lived in Hijaz, Arabia. Even the calligraphy of Quran was invented by the Persians.

Yes, the Hadith compliers were Persians who lived thousands miles away from Hijaz Arabia where prophet supposed to be lived. They wrote down his sayings after 200~300 years later. I don't doubt Persian influence on Islam. Even modern Quranic Arabic script was invented by Persian calligrapher.
