I attended this show Saturday night and had the privilege of hearing the performance in person. Miss Houston, thank you. You know that when the lyric says, fall on your knees, it is not a suggestion but a command. And your voice is the perfect instrument for delivering that command. Plus was the head of a girl group and the most requested sessions singer of her era.. request by ALL the Greats of the 60s/70s and even 80s. No one ever has topped her background notes on Arethas aint no way.. she deffo smoked her gifts away too but. The women knew control..
