This is such a great game that gets over shadowed by the big name city builders, but you've got it figured out and make it simple so any new, or old player can learn something new. I just decided to say screw it, mayor edition was on sale and so was the upgrade pack so got EVERYTHING dlc wise in the game. Bankrupted myself within 2 milestones and even with cheats couldn't form the city how I wanted. So glad these are here, and nothing against a bunch of other CCs, but heavy accents are hard for me due to an audio processing issue I have. These have been clear, relaxing but interesting to listen to and EXTREMLY helpful. Thank you

I bought the game, too, on the HumbleBunlde. I was like, "eh, 1$ for the base game, awesome... Thought I was being sneaky by getting a great deal and only paying 1$ - avoiding the 6$ for all the expansions. Oh god, how I wish I could turn back time. Now I'm seeing a single expansion that I want for 14.99 :( I'm so stupid. Luckily there is a Steam sale in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the bundles will be on sale then.

@@zombievikinggaming4258 Yeah, Humble Bundle had an amazing sale where you could get the base game for 1$ and all (or nearly all) expansions for $6. I was an idiot and only bought the base game. I have since bought all the expansions individually. Still very happy with my purchases :) Happy building!

Update: There's been A MASSIVE exodus. Not sure what i did lol Either it was my relocating the college outside the city into its own campus, which changed the land value of the surrounding Homes Or it was my frequent spikes in tax rate to fund it all.

I just bought the game and went ahead and got some of the dlc and these videos have been extremely helpful. The game like you said in the first episode can be a bit overwhelming for a new person (I jumped in and was just so overwhelmed with how much stuff there is) but your videos that I've seen so far are I'd say absolutely essential to new people since your explanations are extremely easy to understand. Plus you don't use all the technical jargon that some people use in their videos. As far as I'm concerned anybody could get the game and then watch these videos and they'll understand what to do. Phenomenal job with the videos

I put my 1st police and fire on the traffic circle for the equal response time I also have a curved overflow in the middle of the circle that is advantageous to the side the fire dept is further around the circle from

You might want to mention Chirper as a heads up for problems. I know on PC you can click the name on a chirp and the game centers on the person and brings up their info but I don't know if that works on console.

Things like Green Cities, Mass Transit and Sunset Harbor are all DLCs. There was a deal on HumbleBundle night still be available. Can get a lot of the DLC for not much money.

This city design causes newbies to have traffic problems pretty quickly. It isolates the industry on one side of town and the residential and commercial on the other side, with only a roundabout in the middle. The roundabout isn't capable of handling all that traffic. It's not a high capacity junction no matter what Biffa says, and besides, console players don't have access to TM:PE so they can't fix all the problems with roundabouts. You shouldn't be isolating your industry like that in the first place. Put it on the same grid as everything else, just don't put residential zoning next to it, put commercial and office zones in between to act as buffer zones.

Looks like you have the problem with approaching the milestones too fast. The trick here is to first explain everything, and only afterwards zone more residential areas.

That happened to me once when I was playing with all the cheats on...no matter if the hospital was right beside the house that was sick, they'd die. I ended up just putting clinics and hospitals on top of the houses of sick people😂 I deleted that save file...😂😂😂
