"Would anyone care" reminded me that there are people in my life who love me and care about me. And who would miss me if I was gone. "I'm not ok" reminded me it's ok to admit when things are hard and that it doesn't make me weak. "Stronger than my storm" reminded me I'm a survivor who is more than the anxiety. More than my trauma. Stronger than those that try to tear me down. "When living means living in hell" can be hard but it's all one step in front of the other. And I just have to remind myself that it's ok to take a break. And for all this I say, thank you.

I don't usually post this stuff in comment sections since I don't want to come off as oversharing or like I'm trying to get a reaction. I deal with a dissociative disorder and other myriad diagnoses. Its something I was born with though why we don't fully understand, the prevailing theory among the professionals I've met with is that its due to trauma sustained in the womb. Living with the biggest monster I've ever known living in my head and knowing when he reaches out to take control he may hurt someone and I wont remember a thing Is horrifying, my entire life has been a war against the living nightmare who's set up shop in my mind, everything I've dealt with from the world outside has no comparison to the hell that exists within my head. The constant war to keep this monster suppressed is exhausting and when I finally give in and fall asleep hes waiting for me and the fight begins again in a different way the nightmares that wake me up and leave me exhausted take a tole on my health. Many of citizen soldiers songs resonate with me to such a degree because all I've known for as long as I can remember is a war within my head. But there is a bright side to all the chaos in my head, 1 due to the nature of my in utero trauma Im an isolated case within my family meaning the dissociative disorder wont be passed on by my older brother and my younger brother is like to be free of any issues outside of the genetic markers my family already has and 2 I've learned to persevere through whatever the world throws at me because nothing has come close to what I'm already dealing with. Citizen soldier said it best "pains a gift it aint a curse" I can only get stronger from this so I'll fight till I'm stronger than anything within me and anything without. Sorry for the thesis these songs make me think... A lot

Mental illness isn't always depression. PTSD is a big one and it's hard to live with. I'm only 22 and I will never be able to stop thinking about what I saw. Someone that didn't think help was there took it into their own hands. 30 minutes of CPR to no avail. What I saw was hard, I know there's help and I won't give up. Nobody should ever give up. Help is out there even if you think there isn't. You will always be able to find help.

There's a monster I caged deep behind my eyes I can never escape, I've been running for miles When the morning comes I know it will still be there My never ending nightmare (My never ending nightmare) [Verse 2: Kellin Quinn] Pull the veil over my eyes (Eyes) So I can't see the person I've become What am I doing with my life? (Life) Try to stop staring at the sun But my eyes get the best of me I'm on the edge, I'm in too deep Why can't you see that I'm right here waiting? [Chorus: Kellin Quinn] I close my eyes, it's there waiting for me Finds me every time, will I never be free? There's a monster I caged deep behind my eyes I can never escape, I've been running for miles When the morning comes I know it will still be there My never ending nightmare [Bridge: Jake Segura] I've almost had enough Knowing I just couldn't get much lower It's got me so messed up Never knowing when this story's over It's so hard to fight for myself When living means living in hell [Chorus: Jake Segura, Kellin Quinn, Both] When I close my eyes it's there waiting for me Finds me every time, will I never be free? Almost every night when I closed my eyes, I saw myself there, berating myself for all my failures and weakness, all my incorrect choices and decisions. I was eventually get myself in a slightly better place to now, where a steady outlet for my stress cam through exercise, but even now, although much less frequent, I still relive all my failures as a person some nights, and in those moments it seems like there is nothing for me in this world. But for all those struggling like I once was, always remember that it gets better. Almost everything you said i feel. I'm the only one that does anything in my friends relationships and even relationships with girls and I have given up on almost everyone because of it. I care so much about everyone else but no one cares about me. I'm treated as if I'm non existent and I always talk ny mouth off and talk over people cause I just blabber about anything and I've gotten bhate from it. I feel where your coming from a bit. I wish I could give you advice to help cause usually I'm the guy who always gives advice but as of late I've run out of advice and I'm in the same boat as you rn in what you've said so yeah 😞

Hey, I don't know what you've been through by exact detail but I do know one thing. Despite that, it shows you have an unbreakable care for others. Sure it's not easy, just standing up being yourself when everyone seems to hate you but trust me there's something in that care that will interest others. Being upfront and saying what you mean, truth is better then a lie. Even if it hurts them. To me me those are good traits, even if you are loud or talkative or anything. Now, I'm not saying those other traits are bad either but your mind would deny if I said it was good. Just know there's still something in you worth saving. I know what it's like to be the only one to hold onto a friendship. I feel like fighting for one I have but I don't know if it'll work out. I also know someone who's, put so much effort just to see someone disregard them, even hate them slightly. I don't know how to describe it but do know you're worth something even if you don't know what, keep fighting. Maybe someone will notice it in you.

This song and many others on this channel have resonated with me. My life has had terrible moments and the reason they feel so much like my life because as much as I want to give up I still stand to hopefully see the light of day. So I am currently going through the loop of my depression trying to get through it all. Anyway thanks for these songs they help a lot of people I can tell and they help me have the relation to feel I am not alone and look at people who say not to give up and to the people who won't. I just want to say everyone don't give up even if you feel like everything is repeating and won't just know it can fix one day. I have not been there yet and still stuck with my mind being against me. With everyone out there I want to inspire and tell I am not giving up till I fully feel defeated. I will fight until the bitter end. So Just know some people love you all out there. ♥

"I can never Escape.. i've been running for miles.." Dear Citizen Soldier This song (and in particular this lyrics) hits deep inside. This song is just perfect cause everyone has (or have to fight) a "neverending nightmare". And it's worth for everything. Starting to problems like study, work, relantionship to other problem like desease, Illness or addicition.. What this song is trying to say (in my modest opinion) is that everyone has their own nightmare and running away it's not the solution. But we have to fight, cause even we think we are weak, inside of us there's a force who gives us the strenght to continue to fight! And most importantly guys remember, we are not alone and there's no shame to ask Help. Thank you for this Brilliant song, Amazing work as Always!! Best regards from Italy❤

@@Amazing_Universe-o5x Dear Kindness. Thanks for your comment. It took me a long time to respond to your kindness in exact English. I didn't mean to ignore you, so please don't be offended. Last year I was severely harassed at work and betrayed by two bosses I trusted. Yet I was in a position where I was not allowed to take time off from work. And every time something went wrong (for example, someone got sick and had to take a day off), they blamed me for it. My workload was also quite heavy, and I had to allocate my lunch breaks and holidays to work in order to make it. I was told later that I alone was in charge of the work that should have been divided among the three of us. I asked for help many times, but no one showed up to help me. After a while, I began to think that I was not worthy of being saved. Since January of this year, I received an offer from another facility in the same group company and have been working there. Even now, whenever a problem occurs at the facility I was working at until last year, they blame me for running away. Even at my current facility, I have to be very careful about who I trust. I'm also afraid to ask for help. I spend my days pretending that I am back on my feet. Thank you for reading this far. I can't write English properly and I think my grammar is wrong. @@cu-m3815 Let's see I won't try to make it a contest so sorry if it seems that way in advance. To start I watched the events of 4 of my friends die in mysterious ways the ways they died looked natural enough but the thing that bothers me is every time either in class or asleep I would see one of them dieing and hear about it 1 or 2 days later. I blame myself for not saying something sooner this is my pain. But I on top of that I've had friends and co-workers betray me and even some family, very many times even now I contemplate stepping in front of high-speed traffic or jumping off a building but every time I think about it I look at the ring on my finger and the symbol on it is a Viking Knot with a promise or 2 I made to someone and that in itself keeps me from doing stupid shit. This pain is so great that people don't usually live as long as I have though they die in their sleep and you never hear about it. This pain also takes its toll I should be a very energetic person yet I can sleep for hours on end and I should be healed by now but I feel all the pain from every part of my body that ever got damaged. So I say find something like a promise to latch onto and never break it no matter what and you'll not only be better because of it but you'll become a better person. Also remember to harden yourself to your pain people may see someone being cold but the right person will see through it.
@cu-m38153 жыл бұрын
@@akiral3g10n6 Thanks for your comment. Please give me a few days to translate your comment into Japanese and then I will rewrite my reply to you into English. I have a question, is it correct that the "Viking knot" is the overlapping of unbroken shapes that you see in rings and other symbols?
