Believe me, I know exactly how you feel. Both my family and friends are so busy with their own lives that I rarely get to spend time with any of them. But being alone shouldn’t stop you from living. Find a new restaurant, see a movie you normally wouldn’t, go someplace fun and do what YOU want to do. It's fascinating how Citizen soldier always manages to release exactly the song I need when I need it. This last week I've struggled and been set back significantly on my journey to improve my mental health. So I have been actively telling myself that, despite failure being ok and not the end of the world, I *do* need to get back up in the saddle if I want to recover. So I've been needing some motivational music to keep me going on my journey to "live again"

Same with me. It's like magic when a new song comes out right when I need it. My epilepsy, daily and multiple seizures....I've never had a life like others and have always hated myself. CS magically came into my life and saved me from the night I had legit plans of suicide. ",Would Anyone Care" starts playing when never touching the phone or playing music. Since then the band has always saves me from falling back into the darkness sometimes

I'm so sorry for what you are having to go through. Nit saying I can relate. I'm 29 and have been diagnosed with epilepsy. I have multiple seizures every day and even more at night and in my sleep. Literally almost 24/7 seizure activity where my brain is slowly dying from not getting proper rest. I don't ever see myself having a future, or ever be deserving of love. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to take in the burden of having to take care of me like a child. Couple years ago I had my day where I was going to do it. Legit plans. Taking my last smoke of weed to calm my burning nerves from constant seizures activity. Fuck I can't even walk right afterwards and I even forget my entire memories. But the phone was on the table in front of me when "Would Anyone Care" just magically starts playing by itself. I'm no religious man...but that song saved my life. I cried out the negative and finally felt free. Like someone for the first time in my life, understood my pain. Physically and mentally. I have a very loving and supportive family, but my demons are heavy. The drummer Kyle has blessed me with a Phoenix drawing I wanted to get for a tattoo. For thr Phoenix is the ruler of both life and death. Even if we must fail, we will always have that chance to rise up again. Even if we can't see it sometimes

I actually have a Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 tattoo I got as a gift to myself for my first divorce. I also go by the pen name of CC Phoenix. I'm sorry to hear that you have your very hard difficulty in life. I've been through a lot of pain in my life growing up with family toxicity, not knowing how to love, and just recently putting my relationship back together with my girlfriend. We fought, broke up for a bit, and I almost lost everything till I was forced to the psych ward. I begged God to just let me let go of my life until she came back through a friend of hers. Afterwards I've been trying to put the pieces back together, and my sister Leila recommended me to Citizen Soldier. Your music is helping me to keep going, and to build a healthy, and genuine relationship with my true love. Especially with this song just wanting to learn to live again. I just saw you guys live last night in Spokane, Washington. You guys were amazing and I’m so glad that I was able to watch. I was diagnosed with both depression and anxiety. The year that ‘would anyone care’ came out and I continuously go back to that song when I need a good reminder and cry sesh. This.... is exactly what I needed to hear at this moment. I've just come off my most recent hospitalization and I often listened to Citizen Soldier songs, both the hopeful ones and the ones that describe the pain of living with depression, anxiety, all that fun stuff. So, when I saw this pop up and saw it had only been out for six hours, plus the title and thumbnail, I knew I had to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. My psychiatrist today gave me a challenge.
