You end up understanding something that buyer should be more aware of: liking a car on a short test drive or at first sight, isn't the same as liking a car for years of daily driving it. Manufacturer go for "sporty" feeling car because most buyer will look for that on their test drive and most journalist will look for that on their review, but on daily basis, a car tuned for comfort is much better. And that is basically the main reason why I would go for a Citroën or a DS and not another brand.

Full stop. I can see many of these ZS EV's having their bodywork "reconditioned" after being traded in at 2 to 3 years old......... What a serious contender it could have been if they HAD got it right though? But if it had a much higher standard of fit and finish it would be more expensive. You get what you pay for I guess.......

@roadking080161 it is down to know its has faults and accepting them. i have seen another video that showed very thin and in parts missing underseal on MG by an owner the thing comes is that it is cheap even quiet new models are now going for closer to 19K. But if you only want for 3 or 4 years then you buy new car then no so much a problem but if like me i may be keeping my car 10 year plus it is. I think to keep costs down they have used lower quality items that will need replacement sooner but this will only show up in a few years time. if you have the car resealed your self will this void the warranty but then will they accept any problems with the car if the rust gets so bad in a few years and them repairing it for free. My guess is that very few people will get there car fixed under this they will find some excuss that it was the way you drove the car to get out of doing a repair under warranty

Platform modularization and standardization enable rapid and flexible development depending on customer needs. Hyundai Motor Group plans to introduce 23 BEV models and sell 1 million BEV units worldwide by 2025. Ideal setup would be four wireless chargers in all EVs. Two front and two in the rear when you fold down the rear arm rest (or two in the rear of the front arm rest for the back passengers). It's the way forward. Just do it. There's no reason why anyone in the car should need to charge with a cable. Some USB-C should be in addition to the four wireless chargers, for those times when kids of whomever needs to use their device while it's charging-on a long journey, etc.

Overpriced - like just about every EV. It is a C4 it should be priced in the £20-25k range depending on trim: ie the same price range as the ICE C4. I am hoping that as battery production ramps up and therefore costs come down the overall price will reduce but I cannot help but conclude that at the moment it is simply overpriced for what it is. And the range needs to be longer for me
@casperhansen8264 жыл бұрын
BEVs are expensive up front because of the battery, but as you drive them they gets cheaper, actually they are already cheaper than a similar ordinary car within a few years. Electricity is a lot cheaper than gasoline, especially if you can charge at home. An EV don't need that much maintenance, no oil changes, next to no brake wear, not much that can go wrong in the drivetrain. Check your daily commute, I travel 52 km/35 miles every day so I would need about the 150 km/100 miles of range to make sure I have enough range on a kold winter day. What about long road trips I hear you ask, then you would need fast charging and about 250-300 miles of range and then plan the charging into your trip and have some nice breaks while charging. Please, check Bjørn Nyland and his 1000 km trips, some EVs can do it in less than 10 hours with a speedlimit of 110 km/h!
