I did not push dislike, this is helpful. Maybe those 5 think it is complex at C4 (compared to 207 it is) But... with better light behind the engine everything would be more clear and easy to see. Now it's only a black hole. Thanks for posting! :-)

No! You don't have to remove the windshield bay, just do the way I did it. Easy and not complicated.

Nice-Oscar " Hi Mate l have a similar car, have you encountered the in car fan not working, what other problems have you experienced with this car?

To check if the cooling fan is working, remove the serpentine belt and start the car. The car will think the belt is broken because it can't charge the battery and for some weird reason it will run the fan. The other issue is the airbag light going on and off sometimes.

If you are referring to the fan for inside the cabin then my experience with the series 1 C4 was a bad connection pin at the resistor that gets overloaded. I'm not sure if it is similar with the B7 C4. I ended up bypassing that particular pin with a length of wire and never had a problem since. The dealer was instead going to replace both the fan motor and resistor. I never went back to that dealer after that.
