If you live in the city center, grab one when you need it and other times you don't have the expense of car ownership. Also cheap and would be great as a first car when the kids really only drive a few miles locally for the most part.

Very high potential car - it just needs to get out of 2009 tech territory. (Like the Twizy). Wall socket friendly plug is great, but not alone. It would really be nice to see Citroën focus on adapting the Ami into more body styles - it has no boot - but the point of this genisus Ami is to be effective as possible and use the same body mouldings front and rear.

One thing that's got me curious is how these handle speed bumps, the speed means you're unlikely to plough into one but the body looks very close to the ground.

Good to see a European made EV for a genuinely affordable price. Charging option too restrictive and top speed too slow at 30 mph, but these could easily be fixed in an upgrade.

You can buy adaptors if you want to charge the car on a public EV station, they're about £200. Was considering one for my Twizy.

Looks neat, but it would never be approved here in NZ, we can't even get a Twizy here :-( That said, really needs to be able to do 80 km/h minimum even for a city car around here and be able to charge away from home I think.

Can anyone point me to a video that actually shows this car being charged. Do you have to keep the door open whilst charging? Can it stretch through the window to charge so that the doors can be locked while the car is charging?

It was designed for 14 to 16 year old's untill they can do there driving test. Just don't be in it if it crashes.

Great potential as a car. Better than a 2021 Fiat 500e Action spec. Needs a solid 30 -35mph and to whiz up 20% hills for 2 minutes without complaint. Swap out the passenger seat for stowage. Suicide door on the passenger (loading) side, ie RHD version. ISOfix. Strictly for drivers' license holders only.

central london postman vans , paint em all red , awful interior but easy to clean if you are sick ECO yuk. WATCH IT ON A WINDY DAY the door will need to be held firmly when driver gets out and please park it away from other people , so to avoid others laughing at you

EV cars 👍 Tesla is the top one to buy if you have the money. Maintenance and hassle free cars are the EV cars. Citroen ami ev car is good for delivery food and such
