When I see these other talented singers like Ed Sheeran and Passenger get massive radio replay and worldwide attention, it always makes me sad that Dallas doesn't get the same sort of recognition and attention. One of the music industry's best kept secrets, he is.
@Bobboooo211 жыл бұрын
having his songs on the radio being overplayed is the last thing he wants. He said so in an interview
@rhysndaz11 жыл бұрын
john collins I agree with him to be quite honest, he's doing what he wants with his music, which makes it so much better.
@ChaosTheory69310 жыл бұрын
His passion for music is beautiful, he isn't concerned about chart numbers or having that hit single, he makes music because he loves it and it's that simple. I love Dallas not only for his music but for his morals also

"Leaving behind Toronto's incessant hum" - god I love that line. Those of us who live here know that feeling. We probably also know the feeling of heading north on Hwy 69. The sound of the steel guitar - not sure why.

love how he used some of his lyrics from born and raised in AOF :) so awesome
@justinsayswtf3 жыл бұрын
4 years late but I look at this song as kind of a loose sequel to Born and Raised. Born and Raised, to me, is about questioning your purpose and not knowing where you fit in, like an existential crisis as well as agnosticism. “Was this place made or was it here by chance?” “Even disbelief requires a leap of faith.” Harder Than Stone is more about acceptance that we’ll never know everything and we can only make do with what we have. “I ain’t afraid of dying cold and alone when my time comes.” “I grew up. I found out life was hard. Harder than stone.” Always loved that these two songs share lyrics and seem to follow one another thematically.

I was a huge Alexisonfire fan. Then they broke up. I enjoyed Sometimes and Bring me your love. I think Little Hell released after their break up and at the time I thought it was decent, then he released this album and I hated it. As I grew older and found my way into adulthood, I found out I actually love this album more then any other one he put out.
