I live in Northeast Wisconsin. We rent our land to a neighbor. Our house sits in the middle of one of the 40 acre parcels. They finished the corn harvest yesterday. They leave a little corn or beans for the deer. Now we can watch the fields as they eat on the food left for them. Love your videos. You have such a great channel and look forward to watching you and Zach work together on the farm.

I grew up in Missouri and was a farm boy until my Father passed away. At 10 I moved to DesMoines Iowa and was a city boy for the rest of my life. Off to Seattle at 15 and at 62 I retired in Bend Oregon but all my family on my Moms and Fathers side are big time farmers. Great seeing what a real farming is about. Love your smiling face and your channel. Around Bend Oregon out!

I have been watching your blogs recently and really enjoying them. Anything John Deere gets my attention. But in this blog Zach said something about Sublette and I froze. What! Yes and I was almost in disbelief until I repayed that part and was certain. You see I was born and raised in Satanta, our family operated the Ford/John Deere dealership plus the Farmers Elevator before it was sold to the Satanta Coop. My summer jobs included operating John Deere tractors and field equipment . That was in the '50/60s. Wow what wonderful experience to enjoy your Harvest blogs. Great work and thanks . Vaden McDonald

Jordan one last thing. You ladies don't act cocky like the men farmers most do. Also the the men that are on all three channels don't act cocky. That's what I like. Holy cow you JUST finished? Corn? Yeah I guess you don’t learn if you don’t make mistakes but it’s intimidating when you know you’re driving and operating hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment!
@lorenstewart89226 ай бұрын
Corn? No. We were done with corn about a month and a half ago. We just finished beans and double crop beans. Operating equipment should be intimidating for a while, until you get familiar and comfortable with it. But don’t get complacent, because that is when mistakes tend to happen. You seem to do a real good job for a “city girl.” 😉

HI- Keep it up! You do a great job. In SE MN, because I've been waiting for the custom harvesters to get to my corn, they just started today. Should finish tomorrow. And then they'll do my soybeans. The year was so dry, the beans didn't come out of the ground until July, and barely matured by October when it finally froze. I'm just darn lucky we have had such nice weather this fall, they could actually get to them before it snowed! Next year will be better!
@user-fx6ww6pr3z6 ай бұрын
2 things, Jojo...As the others have been telling you, everyone spills some grain every year. I've been doing this for 50 years and I still manage to make at least a little mess every year. We're all only human...And secondly, I've just wrapped up harvest in Southern IL. Years ago, I started a tradition of ending the harvest by heading for a nice restaurant for a calm dinner to celebrate a safe and successful season. We deserve to treat ourselves kindly for a job well done, so tell Zach he owes you a nice night out.

Jordan I watch a couple farming channels and I never get tired of watching you ladies work. Every video is new and every farm is different but the same. If that makes sense. You all have different problems, break downs and the way you handle them. All of you ladies are very impressive to watch and learn from. You are all very smart, hard working, passionate about farming, and explain how and what you are doing very well. All 3 of you are very pretty ladies but that doesn't mean you are not capable of doing the job because you all are very capable of taking care of yourself and getting the job done. I have never felt that a woman couldn't do anything. You ladies have proved that point. Congratulations on finishing up 2023 harvest season. Much love James from Washington state.

Great video! Nice job of summarizing the harvest. I was thinking, do you or Zach have any ideas what you might do the same or do differently next year for this video series? Maybe you could ask your subscribers to throw out some ideas. Yes, you are apt to receive many crazy things but every once in a while you might harvest a nugget that is a diamond in the rough. Zack, man are you right on the money. Harvest is done and now the work begins. Planning for planting next year, plus all the really fun stuff of servicing, cleaning, and repairing equipment. This is when you feel less like a farmer and more like a mechanic. Honestly Jordan, you have improved in leaps and bounds in your video-blogging. I cannot wait to see what you do in 2024. Don't be afraid of including oops things. A bit of humor will brighten everyone's day.
