Wow! Thank you again for these wonderful walks! The landscapes in Utah are jaw dropping, I am throughly enjoying walking on my treadmill while viewing them. Some of the distant rock formations reminded me of massive ruined castles that had been battered by many battles. Wonderful! Best wishes from northern England. 👍

Beautiful landscape. Thank you for walking here. As I was watching it I kept thinking that Arches exists because of eons of nature's ability to shape the earth. Hard to wrap my head around how long it must have taken. You mentioned cairns, and I once read a book about cairns ( Cairns by David Williams) in which he wrote that whenever you move a rock the ecology under that rock is permanently damaged. Take care and convey my greetings to Brodie.

Amazing landscapes. They just take my breath away. Thank you for being our proxy walker and taking us on this stunning adventure Henry! As always, perfect pace. Love the fact you got turned around and lost the path. That would be something I would do. Too focused on everything else. You made me giggle when you shushed yourself. I’m not sure if someone has said you talk too much, but I’ve always felt you had the perfect balance. The video was outstanding. Not sure what kind of set up you were using but I loved that it had no distortion around the edges. Keep on stepping!

Thanks so much Arlene. So glad you enjoyed it and the talking isn't too much. I get a comment every week or so from people who prefer the silent versions but I haven't figured out how to do both, or to keep quiet, so talking it is. :-) Have a great day and thanks again. -H

I've always wanted to see Arches NP so I loved this walk and look forward to following along with you on many more. By the way, you mention that this is ideal for treadmill walkers (and I do have a treadmill) but it is also great for exercise bikes. I just pivot mine into position to face my widescreen monitor (raised to eye level on the bike) and pedal along at a walking pace with enough resistance set to make it a good workout for me. It still gives me that feeling of actually being there. Please bring us more of your wonderful walks!

There are so many beautiful and unique landscapes in North America and this is one of the best ones. We hope to visit it one day 🤞 so thank you for a walk around. Is there any advice you could give for people who plan to visit this place?
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Yes, plan ahead and make reservations early. I had the park to my self in March but at the end of the month it was packed with no hotels or campgrounds available. Take plenty of water as well. -H
