If that's a shot at the turbo, nah he maybe fine as long as it's fed clean oil and a free flowing drain. I have ran 3 of that brand and only 1 failed due to my catch can freezing over causing high crankcase pressures. China turbos aren't half bad anymore.

@@dashzergames7967D16z6 or d16y8 can handle up to like 10lbs with stock internals. they fail because of the rods, they're like pencils. I believe you can run like 20-30psi with built internals on a stock block.

The turbos outlast a stock block, and these turbos have gone up to 500 hp after that it's a gamble

Turboing single cams doesn’t make any sense when you have better options available. Just go K-Series bro, or a B18C1 at minimal.

if you throw in pistons and rods in a D series the block can withstand 500bhp so i imagine he'll be making close to double 150whp.

@@applepoop10 D series makes plenty of sense. They cost pennies to build compared to k series, parts are more available than b series, and they're nearly as bulletproof as B and K.

​@@applepoop10 d series is fine. Youll make 220, 240whp on vtec, fuel with a turbo. Obviously its recommended to just build the d series cause thats what its for, cheap power. 450 to 500hp on a built piston and rod d series. I had one that did 411 on 93 in my del sol

Is that a D series block? Change the head gasket thickness when you are boosting the engine if you didn’t know and a Oil Catch can with maybe dry sump conversion would be a nice addition

I had maxspeedingrods turbo on my old Audi and the compressor wheel blew to pieces in 2 months with no tune. If you want a cheap turbo I’d suggest rev9 I tan their turbo and coil overs for years with no problems
