Civic Type R Oil Change

Hey there. You need to crank the engine so oil can fill the oil filter before checking the oil. This is why the dipstick showed full with 5qts. Once you crank the engine, the oil will drop on the dipstick and you can add more as needed.

I filled my oil filter too, and added about 5 quarts. Once engine started and shut down after idling; The reading on dip stick went to low or slightly below low level. So yes, checking after 1st starting is a must

Did you start the engine to fill the filter before checking fill level? Also, previous owner must have left you the useless funnel?

That funnel is for filling fuel from a gas can 😆

So ein Gematsche mit dem Oelgebinde . Aber eine sehr schöne Werbung für mobil Oil . Mein Händler empfiehlt übrigens original Honda Oel 0-W20 .
