Évidemment la cartographie moteur a été retravaillée pour inclure la baisse de contre-pression à l'échappement induite par la suppression du GPF ? Histoire de pas griller les soupapes d'échappement ou d'user prématurément le palier de turbo.

You got a new shed Gav?? that looks like an absolute pain in the arse job😄. I can definitely hear the difference with windows down, sounds mean without being annoyong. On a side note you have carbon fibre look trim on your top of your steering wheel near the horn pad??

Yer it was a pain to change but worth it. The sound now is a lot better. I moved recently so I’ve built myself a new workshop. I got my carbon steering wheel cover from a guy on Facebook.

I’ve had the car from new, but yes the car already had a scorpion GPF back on it so yes it’s had already been cut.

I definitely noticed more torque form the engine. I’m booked in at dyno in a few weeks so I’ll find out then.

Dyno testing shows a less than a 4% gain in a limited part of the rev range from GPF removal, on a stage 2 modified vehicle...🙄

Yer It will always come on if you remove the GPF. You can have it mapped out though.

I think it’s personal preference. It’s nice to have the option to put it into normal mode as it’s a lot quieter.

The one I’ve got is non-Rez. You can tell the difference by looking at the replacement pipe. If you look mine is a straight pipe and if you see one with a silencer in the middle then that would be a resonated. Hope this helps

Will the gpf delete make it illegal on the road? Had all upgrades done so far with a induction kit , throttle elbow and induction hose , intercooler and cold air intake scoops .. yet to do anything to my exhaust though looking at the scorpion gpf back system

It’s a bit of a grey area to be fair. I’ve spoken to my mot centre and they told me that they would put a mot on the car if it passes emissions test. I still have a standard CAT so the car will pass. I’m sure other people will tell you different but I’m going with what I’ve been told.

It's illegal for road use in the UK but legal for track use which is how companies selling them get around the legalities. It's also potentially a no insurance issue as the car is no longer road legal but I've heard different versions of this but it's certainly an MOT fail if the test centre spots it.

Standard on all STs after June 2019
